Questions on pua/base ratio

  1. does the ratio of pua/base determine how much of the premium goes to cash value accumulation versus death benefit?
  2. How would you determine the ideal pua/base ratio?
  3. What is your opinion of these ratios: 50/50, 60/40, 80/20, 90/10

I've been in my policy since Nov 2024. If it weren't for me tripping across a random tik tok video I would still be in this index but thanks to that video I switched to the S&P and hopefully we'll start seeing some index credits soon. The early years of an IUL are the important years for forming that base to compound on So this really irritates me. If I had it to do over I would have never messed with Iul. I would have only gone with whole life Especially since as I understand it top mutual whole life policies have returned 9% in a year? Is that true?

I'm not actively floating or building at the moment but figured I would deposit my recent progress into some archival storage location.

I want to tank Bryan Klein for his technical input in the facebook DIY Tank group... he actually has designed professional-grade tanks.

Dr Shrink Zipper Access door - https://www.westmarine.com/dr.-shrink-zipper-access-doors-P004_134_002_517.html .... fits over tarp to make entry into the tank without losing heat

waterbed heaters or heattrak snow melting mats provide heat

pool liner for the base.

I also want to tank google gemini for many extended conversations on prototyping this -

I loved Toby for session management. But charging per organization would've bankrupted me: I have numerous "organizations" because I like to organize everything into collections of collections.

Workona also has a fee per organization which also puts me out of the running.

Closing and opening tab groups is not quite as zen as I would like.

I had ditched Chrome for Brave but now that Chrome has vertical tabs and they are more attractive than Brave tabs, I'm back.

But neither browser allowed me to handle sessions very nimbly: you have to open up a folder of bookmarks as a tab group and then close them... session buddy and tab session browser were mentioned as possible options... and vivaldi supports workspaces out of the box.
