Where to work remotely on campus?

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of any quiet places on the Tampa campus where I could work remotely from, especially somewhere I could take meetings without being too disruptive?

I’m working while going to school, and since I commute to campus, going back and forth in the middle of the workday isn’t really an option. So I plan to have my workday there, and just walk to class.

I recently transferred to USF, so I’m still getting familiar with campus and would really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

I will pay you 1500$ if your referral leads to an offer.

Hi everyone!

I'm looking to apply to an Microsoft 365 Engineer position at Oracle, but due to it being a remote one, there are a lot of applicants and the chances of my resume getting seen is low. The referral will help me put my resume in front of a human.

I have the perfect background for the role, and experience from a F100 company. I can share my LinkedIn to verify this information and I'm willing to answer any questions.

If I receive an offer from your referral, I'm willing to pay 1500$ in Zelle/Cashapp etc.

Thank you!

Microsoft Engineer asked for my age during a technical interview. Is this normal?

Recently I had a technical interview at Microsoft for an engineering position in the U.S.

The interviewer was an engineer on the team rather than a recruiter. After I introduced myself, one of the first questions he asked was, "How old are you?" For context, I'm in my 20s.

Later in the interview, he also asked whether I was a U.S. citizen and where I was from. The role did not list any citizenship requirement, and I had already indicated on my application that I was authorized to work in the U.S.

I've never been asked directly about my age during an interview before, and I was surprised to be asked both of those questions by a technical interviewer.

Is this unusual for interviews, or am I overreacting?

Let Me Earn You a Referral Bonus

Hey guys, I am looking at a job position at CVS and honestly feel very confident about my chances if my resume gets in the hands of the recruiter (the referral via WorkDay skips the AI resume checks) as my experience fits perfectly.

If anyone here works at CVS and is open to referring me via WorkDay, it could be a win-win since referrals usually come with a bonus too. I really appreciate it!
