Not feeling Henderson right now and a little worried about Kyler feeding JJ. I'm guessing most people would call this a bad trade for me, especially contending. So give me a verbal slap across the face.
QBs: Mahomes, TLaw, Murray
WRs: Puka, Jefferson, Pickens, AJB
RBs: Gibbs, Henry, Henderson, Tuten
TEs: Kraft, LaPorta
I am a former PowerBI developer who is taking some time away to help care for my disabled son. I decided to work on a personal project to keep up my "skills" (if you can call them that) and decided my love for dynasty fantasy football would be a fun candidate.
My experience is primarily in SQL and DAX, with minimal python. I tried to look into connecting to some existing APIs to pull in data but ended up just grabbing CSV datasets from Pro Football Reference and importing them into a PostgreSQL database. I then worked on building a report in PowerBI.
The idea was to analyze the relative value of different positions (QB/RB/etc.) in fantasy football by looking at the drop-off in performance by rank. The initial difficulty was capturing all of the various fantasy football scoring settings that drastically change how players would be ranked. I was able to:
- Allow for for toggling five different scoring settings (Standard, Half-PPR, PPR, TEP +.5, and TEP +1)
- Capture 4pt vs. 6pt passing TDs
- Allow for comparison based on four points calculations (Season total, Point per Game, Point per Game Played, and Median Game)
Disclaimer: I built this with fantasy football enthusiasts as my audience, so many of the abbreviations much of the terminology is not explained and assumed to be common knowledge. This is also a first draft, I am planning on improving this in the near future.

I am hoping this interests some of you here and that you will share your feedback with me.
Thanks!
I am contending this year and have an offer on the table to trade A.J. Brown for Kyren Williams.
QBs: Mahomes, Lawrence, Murray
RBs: Gibbs, Henry, Henderson, Tuten
WRs: Puka, Jefferson, Pickens, Brown
TEs (start two): Kraft, LaPorta
I wanted to get a little younger at RB and I don't love the vibes coming out of the Patriots camp surrounding Henderson. I traded Coker and Mike Washington for Tuten but then got a separate verbal offer to move Brown for Kyren. I am considering accepting and then moving Henderson for a solid fourth WR
Am I dumb?
EDIT: PPR, no tep
Would be a mid 1st.
Hard to say no.
I needed help at WR last season while making a run. Bought Deebo off a rebuilding team for a 2026 2nd. Prior to his bye, he was in top 10 territory in PPR. His production did fall off at the end of the season but I would hardly call him washed after last season. Sure he is 30, but do we know why he hasn't been picked up by anyone yet? Is he still worth holding?
I have previously been roasted here for a series of...bold...trades while rescuing an orphan.
Today I bring you a series of 4 trades I made this week after a startup draft. 12-team PPR SF, no-TEP, 6pt pass TD league.
1at pic is post draft, last pic is where I ended up. Roast away!
This is a startup for a 12-team PPR, SF, no-TEP, 6pt pass TD league. I had the 1.2, traded back to the 1.8, then traded that away completely for more picks in rounds 2-5. People thought I was crazy, but I feel like my team is well balanced. Would have been nice to have Bijan, but Burrow falling so far and getting Hampton made me feel ok.
Joined a 12 team PPR, SF, no TEP league. Team had a few absolute studs but no startable TE and some pretty bad depth. There is one absolute juggernaut of a team so everyone seems to be collecting picks and waiting out his window but I felt that was boring. Here are three trades I initiated and a look at my ending roster. Roast away!
Underpay or overpay for Kraft? I would be receiving Kraft, am seriously contending. 10 team SF, TEP (start two TEs not scoring). Other TE is LaPorta. 1st would likely be late.
I took over an orphan that owns Stafford (12 team SF). Leaguemate expressed interest in trading for him. First slide is his first offer, second slide is my counter that he seemed insulted by.
