I’m assuming the majority of people here are DVC members. As owners, are you comfortable renting points to friends? If so, would you think 74 points at $25/pp is fair? Our family friends are renting us points for a stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for May. They booked it and it was 74 points total for the six nights in a standard view studio. The total cost was $1850, which we already paid even though our stay is more than 7 months away. The husband took care of all of it but now the wife has said that they didn’t charged us enough. She said that $308 a night is too low for Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House. We would pay more to keep the relationship but we did agree to $25/pp. Your opinions would be appreciated.

We have an extra ticket for the Halloween party next Tuesday. I know we can’t get a refund, which is totally fine. Is there a legitimate way to sell it that Disney allows? We don’t want to break any rules and we’ll give it away if we have to but we were just wondering if there a Disney approved way to sell it.

I’m wondering how long it’s reasonable to wait to hear back from David’s DVC rental? I saw a confirmed reservation I liked, filled out the form, and paid the deposit. It’s been almost a week and they are saying they haven’t heard back from the member yet so they don’t know if they were able to change the reservation over to my name. What is the normal timeframe on something like this? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have been running Plex on my cloud home for years with great success. I think there is some database corruption but I am unable to repair it because WD dose not give you access to the Plex SQLite. I was told to simply disable and then renable Plex and it would self correct. Well that defiantly did not work and now I get this error when I try to enable Plex. My content is there but it won't load, display, or play anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m looking for a repair shop that will change out the battery in a brand new Kobo Mini. While reader is brand new, it had been sitting in a box and never charged for over a decade. As a result, the battery will not charge at all. People here have been kind enough to suggest that I change the battery myself but frankly it seems too complicated. I’m more than happy to pay a professional. On another form, someone mentioned Pacific Mall. If possible, could you be more specific as to which shop in the mall would be able to do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a Kobo mini that I adored. It was the perfect, simple, tiny ereader. Unfortunately, I lost/ had it stolen at a resort last summer. I was super sad about it but it was 13 years old and I thought I deserved an upgrade anyway. So I bought myself a Kobo Libra Color as a treat. I really like it a lot, I honestly do, but its not the same. I love the KLC for reading at home but not for when I'm out and about. So I spent a small fortune on a brand new in box Kobo Mini, perhaps the last one in existence, from a reseller. It powered up fine and I was able to update it to the latest firmware without any issues. But as I go to use it it keeps freezing. I have come to believe it is a battery issue as it works without freezing when plugged in. I will work fine unplugged for a few minutes and then freeze. Nothing I do will get to to unfreeze including trying to power it off and on will work. Absolutely nothing happens, it just stays frozen until I plug it in again. I think the 14 year old battery was just drained for too long to come back and actually hold a charge. Any suggestions other than replacing the battery? Could it be something else? I'm open to all possible suggestions. In retrospect I should just bought a Kobo Clara BW but this is where I am now. Any help would be appreciated.
