Persistant high platelets, doctor can't figure it out

I want to preface this with saying I am currently seeing a hematologist, so I'm just more curious if anyone has ideas, rather than this being a substitute for going to the doctor.

I started having consistently high platelets (between 5-600 k/ul) several years ago.  My PCP finally sent me to a hematologist about a year ago,  who assured me they would "figure it out". Which they obviously haven't,  so now I'm just going on every 3 months for tests to see if they go back down on their own. They have run many tests,  including a bone marrow biopsy, and found nothing. Anyone have any thoughts?

I've had scattered but not crazy out of range abnormal results (like, 1 or 2 tests out of 4) for the following: c- reactive protein,  manual and auto neutrophil, monocytes, sedimentation rate, auto immature granulocyte, MCHC, and reticulocyte. Some but not all of the tests have found abnormal platelet morphology and giant platelets.

My iron has consistently been weird (see pics).

I have high cholesterol and am in perimenopause. The only medication I'm taking that I think would affect my results is oral birth control? Happy to share any other test results.

My favorite fall recipe! Baked Chiocciole with Brussel Sprouts, Apples and Blue Cheese

So the story with this recipe is that I was depressed one day, didn't have a lot in my fridge, and googled apples, brussel sprouts and blue cheese, because I had almost bad examples of all of these in my fridge.

This recipe came up, I magically had all the ingredients, and I thought "THIS SOUNDS AWFUL". I figured that this was what someone who let their food get almost bad and didn't go to the grocery store deserved- a disgusting meal! Who puts apples in pasta? Who boils brussel sprouts? And also, I don't even like blue cheese, I had bought some fancy kind aspirationally because of one of those cheese case descriptions that made it sound good.

I was wrong. This dish is the bomb. It's perfect for fall when you want something warm and filling and hearty, and somehow all of the flavors together are awesome. Even the blue cheese. You have to follow the recipe and not wing it, the lemon juice and pecans are actually pretty important. But it's so good. I mean, if you hate hate hate blue cheese maybe don't try it because that is one of the melange of flavors in it, but if you're like me and you just don't really like it or get why it's a thing you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Now that it's been memoryholed by the website it was on I wanted to share in case someone wants to try it before it's gone forever. (The link says figs for some reason but the are no figs in the recipe)

Silent film on an ocean liner

I've been looking for this film for 20 years since I saw it late at night on Turner classic movies!

Plot:

A poor girl is taken on a cruise by a rich old lady. I think she passes her off as a relative. On the ship, a rich man (pretty sure he's royalty?) falls for her and pursues her. There's a screwball sequence where she is running from him and it involves turning lights on and off or them seeing each other through windows. The girl does not know anyone else on the ship and the majority of the movie is on the ship.

I tried AI and it mostly spent a lot of time apologizing for picking random unrelated movies.
