how to save allowance? - shs student

Hello! I’m a Senior High student and I wanna know how to budget and save my allowance. My allowance monthly is 5k, everyday is 200.

Here are my expenses every school day:

  1. Transpo

- 13 jeepney
- 20-60 tryc (varies)

  1. Foods
  2. - As of now wala pa, but I plan to baon na lang ng lunch dahil whole day kami. Magbaon na lang din ba ako ng for break time? Meals r pricey 🫩 (uni) pero Idk about sa ibang stalls doon since hindi ko pa naman naikot nang buo.

Should I bring 200 a day lang and no extra para hindi magastos? Mabilis kasi ako matukso sa foods 😓

RRTs wya now?

Do you regret pursuing RT? I wanna know how life went for you.

This is my 1st choice po, but nag-aalinlangan because of low job opportunities and healthcare is underpaid here in the PH.

But do you think it’ll be worth it if mag-aabroad after grad/board?

torn between public and private

I already passed the entrance exam at a private university, but the thing is sa June pa ata mag-open ng scholarship or late May. Pero this late May na rin last call ng enrollment sa public school.

Should I enroll sa public then withdraw my enrollment na lang once I passed the scholarship? My mom is willing to pay the full tuition fee sa private, pero my dad won’t allow me to go private if wala raw ako scholarship. (co-parenting, they don’t get along)

I’m glad that my mom supports it full pero sayang din kasi scholarship since I’m qualified din naman cuz of my GWA (with high), and may mga inaasikaso rin namang importante mom ko, same with my dad.

Both have quality education, problem ko lang sa public is overcrowded (I think 1500-2000+ in SHS alone) which is overwhelming for me 🫩 also ang daming incidents na nangyari here (such as suntukan and 🔪) and sabi-sabing maraming balasubas na students. Well I know na hindi naman all the time may gano’n.

Hi, I’m planning to pursue BS MedTech or BS RadTech in college. I’m torn between HAU and OLFU, which is better in terms of quality education, facilities, and environment? Badly need insights. Thanks po.
