Gonna have 4 of these vids for each of my rigs! This little course that goes along my rental house KICKS ASS and my landlord doesn’t care lol. Most of the stuff was sourced from my back yard, and I added a couple rocks from the woods. The Bronco struggles a bit, but it can complete it!
All of my RC’s have their left / right weight at 50/50.
The Bronco with weighted K10 wheels and oil shocks performs WONDERFULLY.
Found this little section of rock wall in the woods near my rental house… I’m rearranging the top a little bit to make for a course! It plays out very well… super fun course at the moment.

They require you to remove the axle screw from the arm that comes off the skid plate… is that possible? It feels like the little washer is fixed to the screw.
These shocks don’t snap into the existing axle screw thing, and come with their own axle screws. Buuuut it seems impossible to get the original axle screw off the arm. Thoughts?
Didn’t have to do much to it… just changed the wheels for heavier ones (injora I think?) and added adhesive weights to parts of the SCX base / little bit of tungsten putty. I got those 4 scales and balanced the left and right to both 50%, and my front / back ratio is like 57% / 43%.
But yea it’s nuts how well they climb with a low center of gravity!! Also- I made this fun little desktop climber thing out of cardboard and different types of adhesive sandpaper. It doesn’t stick the best, so you still need some super-glue.
Can’t wait to take it out in the wild now that it’s balanced and weighted!
I love this little thing so much, cause Apple doesn’t seem to want to make small phones anymore :(
However… this little trooper is starting to slow down, and mine is just straight up crashing constantly now. I think I know the issue and I’m getting it addressed, but for some reason I can’t mention bat-er-y here lol
But yea it’s a shame that no one seems to make small phones anymore, even though everyone I talk to seem to prefer them!

Bizarre encounter: coming back from a gig late at night into MLK from 95N, I’m slowing down for a red, as this dude in a white SUV with MA plates blows right through the red without hesitation.
Frustrated at this behavior, I blow my horn for a sec, and go on driving. When I pull up to him at the next red, he motions to roll down my window. Thinking maybe he needs help in some way, I oblige.
He says: “Why you beepin at me?”
Me: “Cause you ran a red?”
Guy: “What are you, a cop? You’re a civilian. You can’t beep at me. Why you think you can do that?”
Me: “Cause it’s not a good thing to do? It’s dangerous, man.”
Then the light goes green, I go, then he floors it, blowing through the next solid red light. Can you fucking imagine if he just got t-boned by a car with a green?? lol
Some people have a wild sense of entitlement, and these assholes are going to be the reason we get auto-ticketing cameras.
I was almost killed a couple years ago when I narrowly avoided being hit by someone blowing a solid red downtown, and was saved only by my reactions and antilock brakes.
What could we possibly do as a community to address this? It sucks. Traffic lights have a pretty good purpose. And honestly, I’m probably lucky this dude wasn’t hot blooded and pulled a gun on me or something. Yikes.
There’s a suuuuper low level tourney that Im helping to make more official, and I was wondering if y’all could point me in the direction of a source of info for:
-official stage picks and counter picks
-rules of picking stages with that weird rock paper scissor thing
-a good online bracket system to use
I wanna help these dudes become official cause the venue has great potential! I’m just a little fuzzy on the rules cause I’ve only gone to like 5 super official tourneys in my life.
Does anyone know if they will institute this in CT?
Also, does anyone know the damage E15 can cause your car? And you get less MPG out of it, and it causes more smog, right?

I’m officially done with Xbox controllers… I mostly play Rocket League on my PC, and my Xbox controllers have been getting stick drift after only a month or two! That’s unacceptable! It’s insanely bad e-waste too.
I just tried this one out tonight, and it’s like night and day. The inputs are absolutely perfect; specifically the joysticks. The level of control I get from the sticks while doing finely tuned aerial stuff in RL is just nuts. And it fits in my hand like an official Xbox controller!
I’ll see how well the rubber sides last, and if they’re cleanable… but I am LOVING this thing so far. It’s the best controller I’ve ever owned.
So… how long do these things last? Anything to know about them?
