As a dj i, along with many others, find bandcamps UI to be an extremely slow process of clicking in and out of album after album…

When on a specific artists music page, it would be AMAZING if the skip or next song button when playing the last track in a release automatically brought you to the first track of the next release.

Thats it… not asking to reinvent the wheel here, just to make it a faster process for users to find the music they want to buy without nonstop “menu diving” in and out of albums.

I understand that people treating it as a streaming service would abuse it… (i wouldnt mind if bandcamp only posted 1min samples to discourage this) but as an artist and a customer i find the current process to be prohibitively slow… and many times i shop elsewhere to save hours of time when trying to buy a lot of music

Edit: djs that know what sounds they like and dont like are listening to tracks for no more than 5 seconds… this is not about streaming music for free… its about bandcamp being tedious and time consuming for professional djs to purchase from.

Hey all, i make deep house… i have music on labels and i also have a personal bandcamp artist page. I find myself torn between

shopping to labels: the bad - the enormous time-sink sometimes for zero replies and the fact that once i sign it to a label i dont own it anymore and usually dont ever see any real money as deep house is kind of a labor of love for the most part. The good - promotion to a much wider audience and the potential to make charts on sites like traxsource.

Dropping it on bandcamp: the bad - my audience and subscribers are very small so the reach is very small. The good - i make some money for my efforts

Is allowing a label to own your masters for the sake of promo worth it? Or do you guys value the direct connection and money from bandcamp more?

I quit a couple of weeks ago… i havent had one day that i havent woken up absolutely exhausted(yawning all day long) and in complete brain fog. How long should i expect for this to last? I have no desire to have a drink but feeling like a zombie all day Is driving me crazy. Cant seem to focus on anything.

Title kinda says it all. I definitely need a new comp for music production… i know a lot of people run m2 chip and dont have any major compatibility issues with plugins… Anybody running an m4? Any compatibility issues? Anything i should know if i go m4 vs used m2?

Is it me or does the dohyo look terrible? In japan it looks like cement… in paris it looks like beach sand and i keep seeing rikishi sliding across the dohyo with no grip… must be using local french clay?
