Keeping family traditions alive.

Keeping family traditions alive.

This infuriates me. Jessa & ben take a road trip & bring along two sister moms. In addition jessa acts like it's her first trip to the Opry botanical garden. She mentioned in her new van/road trip video that her family always stopped there when they were in Nashville. But who knows how many times if any the lost girls have visited there. There are her sisters tending to the two youngest children. If you can't or won't raise your children then STOP having them!

Fewer in a room?

Are the duggar children following sperm & perms practice of only two bedrooms for their children, one for the boys one for the girls? I know the number of children & the size of the home they're in plays a part. However if there are more bedrooms are the children allowed a little more space.

I had a Golden Girls Moment

On Saturday I took my 8 year old daught to one of her friends birthday party. They served cupcakes from Nothing Bunt Cakes (my first time trying them). I took the first bite & I immediately thought "I can't remember the last time I had such a moist cake". It was really good though.

Carried over.

Will the discipline restrictions jfelon was under at Seagoville right before his transfer be carried over to Elkton, or will he be given a "fresh start"?

Just the girls...?

"I would love to connect with maybe some of the girls".

Take that quote with a grain of salt 🧂. Famy apparently said it in an interview with oxygen. Makes me wonder about why not the boys? It is entirely possible that all the boys have that cocky I'm better than thou.

More one on one time?

Which children actually had more one on one time with their parents growing up, the duggar or keller children?

In one of the early specials (anna & jfelon courting or wedding) it's stated that the duggars spent more time involved with their children because in the keller family the children each had 15 min a week to speak one on one with their mother about life their thoughts & feelings, other than that 15 min they kept everything else to themselves. However the duggars never said how much one on one time each child actually had with sperm & perm.

"Safeguards" in place.

If the boys wanted to leave their locked from the outside room at night couldn't they have just taken the slide from their room to the play room, subsequently having access to the entire house?

Can't have it both ways.

Deanna wants the entire family of sperm to be investigated because of the crimes jfelon & jfelon jr committed. Well what about her? Even though her only child is grown she allowed her to be around grandpa duggar who she now says was a predator. She also let her child be around her uncle's family. While she may have not know about the sexual abuse I'm positive she knew of other things going on in the home (blanket training, encouragement, & so on). Yet she allowed her daughter be in that environment.

Taking responsibility

In the event jfelon jr. decides to enter a guilty plea, or plead no contest will that be considered him taking responsibility for his actions?

Admissible?

Could jfelon Jr's confession over the phone to the victims father be non-admissible? I assume he was unaware that he was being recorded, in addition he wasn't arrested yet so he hadn't had his rights read or an attorney present.

Unpopular opinion but technically true.

Stephanie wouldn't have won princess for the day at Disney World even if she had gone first.

I absolutely detest Michelle, always have. This episode made her way more bratty than usual (who knew that she could get even more brattier than normal).

When Michelle shoved her way in front of Stephanie & rubbed the lamp she did it for an extended period of time. The guy in charge of it told her that her turn was over; she still continued to rub the lamp. Had Stephanie rubbed the she she would have followed the rules, the time allotted & stepped down when dude told her here time was up. So regardless of which order the girls were in Michelle would have won.

Mandatory family fun.

At one time all the duggar children learned to play the violin & piano as a daily family activity. I wonder if they kept that going with the younger children. Also is there an age when the older children were able to decide to no longer play instruments, or is it a daily thing until they marry & move out?

I'm very proud of myself

My partner (who is not a Simpsons fan at all) was asking our 8 year old about different types of apes. I of course mentioned a kwyjibo, since they had no idea what a kwyjibo was I played the definition of it. My partner rolled his eyes & told our daughter she should watch planet of the apes. Immediately I said I've got that covered too. I promptly played the planet of the apes musical. He looked annoyed & left the room. Our daughter enjoyed it though. 🤣

Help explaining a different way.

Math problem:

Joy brings 275 grapes to the picnic. She can fit 100 grapes in each box and 10 grapes in each bag. How many boxes and bags can she fill? How many grapes will be leftover?

**Is there another way to explain this type of math problem so my daughter understands how to solve them. My daughter just finished 2nd grade, she struggled with math so we're going to work on math throughout the summer. She can read the questions just fine, she understands ones, tens, & hundreds. However when it comes to breaking it down to solve she is at a complete loss. I explained & wrote out boxes & hundreds are = to each other, bags & tens are = to each other, but she's not getting it. I have no idea how to explain it in a different way so that she understands. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thank you
