Garlic mayo, roasted red bell pepper and eggplant, carmelized onion, white cheddar and mozzarella
Luckily i have it on wheels and the overhang keeps it out of the rain except for when it comes in sideways.
Enjoyed using the 22 inch but did not have the correct space to use it. Now that i have a place to cook i cleaned it up yesterday and made a potato, onion(turned to charcoal) and homemade sausages for the week. Luckily the onions didn't ruin the dish. For tonight i sliced up a ny strip i had in the freezer and made steak and cheese sandwiches. Forgot how fast you can put a meal together with this thing.
Practice pie not too bad, had to cook on a screen until my peel arrives. Still had a nice crisp bottom, but had to turn with tongs lol. Need to add more cheese next time but pretty happy with the results
Forgot to take additional pictures, but glazed the chicken thighs seen here with teriyaki sauce until glossy and served with rice and french fries. I always serve mine with a spicy mayo over my chicken and rice.
Put my pizza steel on the weber on top of a couple bricks to elevate. Banked coals to the side and high on the back to get heat and flames going up over the dome.
Cooked six pizzas in total, about 7 minutes each.
Last week bought a couple pork shoulders which i ground and ended up vacuum packing and freezing. Yesterday made i ended up using some to make some pork hot links. Stuffed the sausage this morning and modified my weber and used the rotisserie attachment to hang the sausage from the spit to smoke with the deflecting ring that came with the vortex. Was able to maintain 165 degrees until the the sausage hit 150, then ice bath. Fired grill back up to cook a few of the sausages to eat on some freshly baked rolls.
Quite tasty and looking forward to making more sausage in the future.
Just went plain with these. Made for a great bacon, egg and cheese sandwich this morning.
