Question about accessibility at the ski area

Some friends and I would love to go up to the ski area and ride the lift to see fall colors. Would this be possible for someone with mobility issues? How much walking is involved, are there stairs or steep inclines to navigate? How about getting on and off the lift, can you do that if you’re moving kinda slow and need low/no impact?

Packaging and price goat dairy products

For those who sell goat milk, cheese, butter, etc, what are you using for packaging? I am very small scale and just sell to neighbors and local friends. Thus far I have just asked them to return the glass mason jars the milk is in. I’m thinking of adding a $5 deposit on the jar that can be a credit for their next half gallon. So if the half gallon of milk is $15, I charge $20 for the first one and then $15 going forward when they bring back the previous jar. Or is there some kind of sustainable packaging for half gallons of milk?As I venture into selling cheeses, butter, and ghee I’m wondering what to package them in? Some cheeses need to be in water or brine and others don’t. I’m 100% in favor of sustainable packaging and avoiding single use plastic. I think using glass jars would get really expensive but I haven’t actually priced them out yet.

Also how are you pricing your products? A half gallon of goat milk at my local grocery is $18 and it’s not even very good tasting goat milk. It’s the kind of goat milk that someone drinks that makes them not like goat milk. Mine is from performance bred Nubians and the breeder is in the top five highest quality milk producers in the country. The milk is superb. I told my neighbor $10 for half a gallon which I know is underselling myself but she’s also done a bunch of favors for me. She came back after making dinner with some of the milk and said I need to charge more like $15 for half a gallon. That just seems so expensive to me but I also know the value in such high quality dairy. I live in a moderately hcol area and people here really appreciate natural living and high quality ingredients. I do need to go scope out the farmers markets and see what goat products are selling for there. I don’t produce enough to sell at a market and am just selling word of mouth on a small scale so far.

Electric fence help

I need help with installing my electric fence. I bought all my materials from finishline due to all the positive reviews in a fb group for horse people but I’ve been beyond frustrated with the complete lack of instructions or support especially when it comes to the electric fencing. I have six lines total and they alternate hot - not hot from the top down. I have no idea how to connect the three lines of electric to each other or how to complete the circuit across the gap across three gates. Or how to do the grounding rods and connecting that to my energizer and fencing. They gave me no instructions on this, no wiring diagram, nothing. They didn’t even give me a list of additional materials I need to install the electric. I was under the impression they put together a complete kit of everything I need to install all the fencing except for the grounding rods but that doesn’t seem to be the case and all I have is the electric rope and the insulators to install on my fence posts which is done already but no way to connect the lines to each other or the energizer or ground. I need to know what materials I need to complete the job and also how to get it all connected. Please help and explain it to me like I’m a bit of an idiot in this realm because this is way outside my wheelhouse.

Silverrock denied 7 day warranty coverage that is manufacturer recommended.

I just got a 2020 Ram 2500 yesterday and the dealership inspected it today. They flagged the brakes and rotors as needing immediate replacement, they’re at 4mm on all fours. Two of the tires are also at 4mm and the other two at 5mm. According to manufacturer guidelines on that particular vehicle (heavy duty truck meant for hauling heavy loads which is exactly how I plan to use it) they replace brakes and rotors at 4mm which is what all four of mine measured at.

They called Silverrock to start a claim and it was denied and the Silverrock guy said they’re not at the point of failure so they won’t replace them. Like you want them to fail and potentially cause an accident before you’ll consider replacing them?? I’m super annoyed but have seen stories about people getting these replaced under the 7 day warranty.

What’s the next move here? Is carvana more open to replacing brakes if the alternative is the truck being returned? I can’t really dump $4000 into it right off the bat like this. I’m also worried it’s not safe for me to haul my horses with the truck until these items are replaced. The truck is otherwise in good condition.

Fifth wheel prep package

I have a 2020 ram 2500 on the way and it has the fifth wheel prep package. I’ll be towing a gooseneck trailer with it and am wondering how the gooseneck hitch works with the fifth wheel prep? Other trucks I’ve used have a level under the wheel well to lock in the gooseneck hitch. How does a gooseneck hitch work with the fifth wheel prep?

Any guess what Davud Austin Rose this mislabeled rose is?

Just got my shipment of David Austin 2 quart potted roses. This one is labeled Tess d’uberville which is a red climber, but it is blooming and clearly not correctly labeled. Any guesses what it is? It has to be one of the DAR potted rose varieties available in the US. It does look potentially like a climber but it’s too small to tell for sure.
