75.8 Percentile (OBC) in MAH MCA CET | 1 Year Gap | Which College Should I Choose?

Hi everyone,

I got 75.8 percentile in MAH MCA CET and belong to the OBC category. I have also taken a 1-year gap before graduation.

I'm looking for MCA colleges mainly in:

Pune

Mumbai

Nashik

I'm confused about whether I should take admission this year or try again next year for a better score.

Can anyone suggest:

Good MCA colleges I can get with this percentile?

Whether a drop year is worth it in my situation?

What colleges should I keep in my CAP list?

Any advice from seniors or students who had a similar percentile would be helpful.

Thank you. 🙏

Looking for guidance/unpaid internship opportunity to gain real OIC experience as a complete beginner

I'm a BCA graduate from Maharashtra, India, currently trying to break into Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as a career path. I don't have hands-on OIC experience yet — I've been studying the fundamentals (REST/SOAP, integration concepts) on my own but haven't worked on a real environment.

I'm not looking for a paid position. I genuinely just want an opportunity to learn through real project exposure — whether that's shadowing someone, assisting on a small task, or any kind of mentorship arrangement where I can build actual hands-on knowledge.

If anyone here works with OIC and is open to guiding a complete beginner, or knows of any structured internship programs (paid or unpaid) at Oracle partner companies, I'd really appreciate any direction.

Happy to share more about my background if useful. Thank you for reading.

Honest question from an OIC fresher — is structured training worth it or does Oracle ecosystem experience matter more?

I've been researching Oracle Integration Cloud as a career specialization and wanted to get perspective from people actually working inside Oracle or with Oracle products daily.

What I've learned so far from professionals:

An Oracle SWE mentioned OIC is not gaining new customers and agentic AI is making some workflows redundant

A Fusion Applications professional said course training without real environment access puts freshers in a difficult position

A LinkedIn professional at EY got placed after Unogeeks OIC training

Another consultant said she got hired with just BCA fundamentals — no specialized course needed

My specific questions for Oracle professionals:

From an insider perspective — is OIC Gen 3 actively being adopted by new enterprise customers or is growth slowing down?

Do Oracle implementation partners like Deloitte and EY actually value institute certifications like Credly or do they only care about hands on experience?

Is Oracle University certification genuinely valued during hiring at Oracle partner companies or is it just a checkbox?

For someone entering the Oracle ecosystem fresh — is OIC still a viable entry point in 2025 or are there better entry points like Oracle Fusion Functional or APEX?

How is AI integration affecting OIC developer roles currently?

Context: BCA graduate evaluating OIC as a career path. Not asking for job referrals — purely looking for honest technical and market perspective from people working in the Oracle ecosystem daily.

Should I Invest ₹24,000 in an OIC Course as a Fresher?

Hi,

I recently completed my BCA and I'm thinking about starting a career in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). I don't have any industry experience yet, so I'm completely new to this field.

I'm considering taking an OIC course from Unogeeks. Their fee is ₹24,000, but they don't provide placement assistance or referrals. Do you think it's worth joining the course in this situation?

Also, is OIC a good career choice for someone with only a bachelor's degree and no experience?

One advantage I have is that my elder brother works as a WMS Consultant, so I have a little industry connection and guidance available.

What would you suggest? Should I invest in OIC training, or should I focus on something else first?

Thank you.

Is OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) a good career choice in 2025 for a BCA fresher with zero experience? Need honest opinions

Hey everyone,

I'm a recent BCA graduate from Maharashtra with no work experience. I'm seriously considering building a career in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and need honest advice from people already working in this field.

My situation:

BCA fresher, zero industry experience

Considering a paid OIC training course (Unogeeks, 60 hours, ₹24,000)

No placement support from the institute

This is genuinely my last shot at getting into tech — family pressure is real and I can't afford to waste time or money

My questions:

Is OIC a future-proof skill or will it become irrelevant in 3-5 years?

Can a BCA fresher with only training (no degree, no experience) realistically get hired as a junior OIC developer?

What salary should I realistically expect as a fresher in OIC — I've seen ₹3-6 LPA mentioned but is that real?

I've been trying to reach OIC professionals on LinkedIn but nobody is responding — is there a better way to connect with people in this field?

Is ₹24,000 for Unogeeks OIC training worth it without placement support?

I know OIC covers integrations between Oracle ERP, Salesforce, HCM and I find it genuinely interesting. But I'm scared of investing time and money into something that won't give me a return.

Any honest advice — good or bad — is appreciated. Even if your answer is "don't do OIC, do this instead" I want to hear it.

Honest review for MCA at Sanjivani College of Engineering (Kopargaon)Got 75.81 percentile in MCA CET

Hi everyone, I got 75.8177526 percentile in MCA CET (OBC category) and I’m considering taking admission for MCA at Sanjivani College, Kopargaon.

I wanted an honest review from current students or alumni. How is the teaching quality, placements for MCA, faculty, coding/skill development environment, internships, and overall college life?

I’m interested in building skills for IT/cloud-related roles, so I want to know if the college environment is good for skill development and placements. Also, with my percentile, is this a good option or should I consider other colleges too?

How to Start Learning OIC as a Fresher?

Hi everyone,

I recently completed my BCA and became interested in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) after exploring it a bit.

I’m a complete beginner and would like guidance on how to start learning OIC properly. Are there any good online courses, learning paths, or beginner-friendly resources you would recommend?

Also, what fundamentals should I learn alongside OIC (APIs, REST, XML/JSON, SQL, etc.) to build a strong foundation?

I’ve checked Oracle documentation, but I’d appreciate advice from people who have actually learned and worked with OIC.

Thanks!

KK Wagh MCA – Honest Review Needed

Hey everyone, I’m considering K.K. Wagh Institute for MCA, and I wanted to get some honest reviews from current or past students.

Here’s a bit about me: I recently completed my BCA, and I got 94 marks in the MCA CET. I’m now deciding whether to go ahead with K.K. Wagh in Nashik or explore other options.

Could you share your experiences, especially regarding:

- Placements: What kind of companies visit, and what’s the average package?

- Skill development: Does the college encourage practical work, coding, and projects?

- Faculty and academics: Are the teachers supportive and knowledgeable?

- Crowd and environment: What’s the peer group like, and is it a competitive environment?

- Attendance and overall college culture: Is it flexible, or is attendance strict?

I’m especially interested in cloud, cybersecurity, and networking fields, so I want to know if the college environment supports upskilling alongside the MCA curriculum.

Thanks a lot! (Used ChatGPT to organize and refine this post for clarity 😅)

I’m confused whether I should go for MCA this year or take some time for skill development first.

I’m confused whether I should go for MCA this year or take some time for skill development first.

Background:

- I already had a 1-year gap before BCA

- Recently completed BCA

- I got around 94 marks in MCA CET

- My current skills are:

- Kali Linux

- Basic Python

- Networking

- Operating Systems

- Basic HTML/CSS/JS

The problem is, I still don’t feel industry-ready or confident enough in my skills. I’m interested in cloud/security-related fields, but I’m confused about the best path forward.

Should I:

  1. Take admission in MCA and develop skills alongside college?

  2. Take another gap year and focus completely on skills/certifications/projects?

  3. Try for internships/jobs first?

I’m worried that another gap year might affect placements or future opportunities since I already had one gap before BCA.

Would appreciate honest advice from seniors or people working in IT.
