Rec: Mielle Pomegranate Mousse for thick wavy hair!

I bought Mielle Pomegranate Mousse without realising that it said “For Type 4 hair” on it. My hair is I think 2c (maybe 2b) so I was worried it would be too heavy, but I tried it and it is THE BEST MOUSSE I HAVE TRIED.

I have thick hair (both in terms of the thickness of the individual strand of hair itself and in hair density) so this may be why it works for me. It’s not super thick, but it’s definitely thicker than average. It might be too heavy for fine-medium hair but if you have thick or even thick-medium hair and you’re struggling with frizz, hydration and definition, I’d 100% recommend Mielle Pomegranate Mousse.

I just thought I’d make a post abt it because some people might look at the label and think it’s only for Type 4, but it can definitely work for other wavy/curly types as long as your hair is thick!

I’ve been struggling with frizz for aaaages - I used to use mousse + gel - but this might be my holy grail and I don’t have to use gel anymore. I still have plenty of volume (I hate hair that looks weighed down) It’s also a good price - it’s £13 but usually on sale for £7 at Boots.

On my honeymoon, made the mistake of eating some raw oysters…

Been stuck in the bathroom of this fancy restaurant for half an hour. I had the oysters about 5 hours ago. Might have to miss a musical my husband and I have been looking forward to for months.

FML. Why did I think raw oysters would be a good idea? Why does God hate me?

And the hotel room is 35 mins on the Tube or an hour cab drive away, idk if I can stop vomming for that long. So I guess I live in this restaurant now.

Show is in 15 mins.

DON’T EAT RAW OYSTERS ON HOLIDAY NO MATTER HOW DELICIOUS THEY ARE.

Tell me your horrible holiday stories. Misery loves company.

Has anyone else’s homepage been complete dogshit the past couple of days?

I’m just curious if this is a sitewide problem or just me.

Usually, my home page is great - lots of brands I like, the right size, books that are my vibe, etc.

But over the past couple of days it has gone completely pear-shaped. Wrong sizes, loads of toys (I have never searched for these once), loads of polo shirts when I have never searched or bought one. And not just wrong sizes, but children’s clothes too, which I have defo not searched for before since I don’t have a kid!

I’ve also seen an uptick in dropshipped and “vintage dressing / unknown / unbranded brand” bullshit when before they would be relatively rare, since I don’t engage with them. (I know some things marked “vintage dressing” are legit vintage but it’s mostly just Shein with the label cut out)

Kind of hoping this is a sitewide glitch that will resolve soon. If it keeps happening then Vinted will barely be useable anymore, and I really enjoyed just browsing my homepage rather than searching individual brands.

Have you experienced this lately?
