Gas pain on MTX?

Hey all, I received 2 shots of MTX on Thursday and now I’m super gassy and have pressure (not on one particular side, feels more like gas and bloating pressure). How many of you went through this? I’m reading that gas/bloat/pressure is a normal side effect and will subside but obviously I’m very weary because I don’t want a rupture.

Question about MTX

On Thursday I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and opted to get MTX rather than surgery in hopes to save my tube (although I know there is still a chance it can rupture). I received 2 shots as my HCG was at 3000. I asked the gynaecologist a series of questions, but, honestly I was a bit out of it because everything was happening so fast. I remember essentially asking her if I would bleed out like a miscarriage and she said that it would be different as the body absorbs the pregnancy. I’ve been spotting brown very lightly for over a week (prior to being diagnosed) and still a few days after receiving the shots. My question is, did all of you experience heavy bleeding after the shot? I’ve read some people say they have but I don’t know if this is a normal experience. I’m not sure what to expect in the next coming weeks so any advice or experience would be appreciated.

First pregnancy, first loss

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my experience. I found out on June 19th I was pregnant for the first time ever. I am 33, married to a man with two amazing children from his previous marriage. I’ve been (not careful to say the least) within the past decade and never been pregnant so I really thought I couldn’t get pregnant. It felt amazing when I got those positives. Last Wednesday I started spotting and had some back pain and a little bit of cramping (that I thought was gas pain) so I decided to go to the ER. I was about 4 weeks at that point and my HCG was 645 but they couldn’t see anything on the ultrasound. They said it was normal because of how early it was and to follow up in a week. I went back for a scheduled ultrasound yesterday and everything came to a halt when they told me it was ectopic. I was in the hospital for 8 hours. They originally thought my tube had ruptured but the gynaecologist at the hospital poked around at my belly and told me it’s unlikely it ruptured as I would be in pain. The pain I had was on my right side and the gyno told me my ectopic was on the left so the pain couldn’t have been that. I’m grateful I’m not in pain and I opted for the shot rather than surgery hopeful that my tube will not rupture so I can have a better chance of getting pregnant in the future. I am really sad but I’m grateful to still be here. I’m mourning what could have been. I’m just wondering how many of you had an ectopic for their first pregnancy and went on to have healthy babies afterwards? In my head it feels impossible. I feel like I’ve failed and I feel like I’ll never get the chance to get pregnant again with a healthy pregnancy. It’s weighing down on me heavily.

Can anyone relate? I'm hoping for some good news.. I'm nervous

TW: BLOOD

For context I am 33F, first time being pregnant. I found out last week on a whim which was very exciting for my husband and I. I'm approx 4-5 weeks pregnant. Everything was fine until Wednesday at midnight. I woke up and was bleeding brown blood. Nothing major, mostly when I wipe and at most there may be a little streak of blood on my underwear. I did have back pain and cramps at the time so I rushed myself to the ER. They took blood and did an ultrasound and y HCG levels were at 645 and they couldn't see anything on the ultrasound as they said it was still too early. It has been 2 days and the bleeding is still going. It has not increased but switches from brown to red to brown to red every so often. It is typically more brown than red. I'm absolutely terrified. I went to do another blood test to check if my HCG levels were rising or falling and I have another ultrasound scheduled for next week.

I don’t know if I’m just freaking myself out

Bit of background F33, TTC. Only just started “actually trying”, though I’ve been having unprotected sex for about a decade. I thought I was broken and couldn’t get pregnant. How good are we feeling that it is positive? My cycle fluctuates between 26-30 days so my official first day of a missed period would be tomorrow. I’m aiming to test either tomorrow or Saturday as well to check if it gets darker. I’m nervous because I’ve never been pregnant before but I’m also very excited if it is positive!
