-1.3 WAR — Combined career WAR of all 2026 Topps Chrome retail 'exclusive' autos

I've hit three now — Andrew Hoffman /10; Alex Carrillo /35; and now Cam Sanders. Two are done for the season; the other is arguably one of the worst players in baseball. It's great to get an auto out of a blaster but I didn't realize it was going to be this bad.

Yes, I know about the "retail exclusive" auto checklist — but I sure feel like a sucker for buying this garbage. To singles from here on out.

Does Topps purposely make submitting default submissions difficult to discourage submissions?

I purchased a Topps Finest mega box today from my LCS in NYC and an entire column has dinged corners, including the hit. Just absurd to be buying something for inflated prices to have half of it completely damaged to now have to submit an individual claim for each card.

I've shied away from doing it before because a $20 blaster is a $20 blaster; it happens. But for a "premium" product to have terrible QC and now have to do each individual claim while, you know, working a 9-5 like the average person is absurd.

Topps should just allow people to submit bulk images like above, list the individual cards, and take them back. Truly the amount of time this takes is incredibly annoying.

/rant (also, sorry -- I need to moisturize my hands.)

Target had a mini restock of Platinum 🥹

The other blaster wasn’t great (I’m complaining about a Crochet blue shimmer and Felix Hernandez purple vibrations) but this one was absolutely nuts. Really happy with the Wood and Kurtz
