i'm interested in starting to talk to natives online so i can get more opportunities to practice my output, what's a good app for this? i know a lot of people recommend hellotalk but i've had a hard time finding like minded people there

i've joined some japanese discord servers for some of my hobbies but i'd like to know if there are any other apps you'd recommend! personally i would like to avoid vrchat because posts on my japanese TL make it sound like only weirdos are on there, but maybe its just 偏見?

i need recs of stores that actually ship to brazil :( i used to buy lenses on pinky paradise originally, but their shipping to brazil is currently TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. not 20, 200. i even thought it must have been a typo but i dmed them and it is accurate. i found lenses that i absolutely LOVED on sigo contacts just to find out that they dont really ship to brazil despite giving you the option on the website, they cancelled my order. im looking for pink contacts so its harder to find pairs that dont look absolutely CRAZY. obviously they won't look "natural" anyway because 1. it's circle lenses 2. it's PINK no one has pink eyes, but i don't like the ones that scream "cosplay" instead of giving jirai vibes. i'm seriously struggling TT i would love to just import japanese brands but they're usually only 1d or monthly and it's not worth it at all for the price and the hassle of having to use a proxy. :( i also considered buying on yesstyle but lots of their options don't ship to brazil for some reason even though the rest of the website usually does. i'm going crazy lol

se sim, como os hospitais que vcs atuam são quando os funcionários adoecem e precisam ficar de atestado? hoje por exemplo eu estou com sintomas respiratórios e acho arriscado porque trabalho em setores com pessoas bem vulneráveis (gestantes, puérperas, recém nascidos, às vezes prematuros). mas tbm tenho medo de ficar mal falada como se faltar por atestado fosse preguiça. será q isso é só paranoia da minha parte? 😅 como essa questão é pra vcs?

tenho 22 e moro com meus pais. recebo bolsa de residência, que é cerca de R$4000 por mês. meus gastos fixos (ajudar com as contas de casa, transporte para a universidade e afins) ficam em torno de 700~1000 reais mensais. estava considerando comprar o iphone 16 pois meu celular atual não está rodando tão bem, já tenho ele faz uns três anos. ele fica em torno de R$5000~, eu pretendia parcelar. seria o primeiro celular que eu compraria com o meu próprio dinheiro, então estou com bastante dúvida sobre qual modelo escolher. vocês acham que escolher um modelo desses seria muito incompatível com a minha renda atual?

i'm an autistic young woman who works as a licensed therapist in brazil. i usually don't have trouble masking in sessions as a therapist except for stimming, i find it hard to stop unconsciously stimming especially because i'm so focused on what my patients are saying. i usually stim touching my nails repeatedly or pieces of fabric in my clothes. i guess it's less noticeable than other types of stimming but it still must be distracting to patients. this is my first year working as a therapist so i'm pretty unexperienced so far, obviously. any tips on how to mask better?
