hubby and I are thinking about naming our baby Rosie with the nickname Ro
hubby and I think Rose is just too plain and boring of a name 🤢
we love rosie though!!! we want to make sure our little girl will be taken seriously in the work place so we think Rosie is an overall better fit for her. thanks.

my daughter is 2 months old. named her sophia with the nickname sophie. at the time i was okay with this.. now that she’s here i see her as a sophie and having some regret i didn’t just name her sophie because that was technically my first choice and changed it to sophia because truthfully my thought process was best of both worlds and sophia can be more formal if she wants in the future. ( also i truly had no idea it was so popular but i understand why as i think it’s a beautiful named, biased i know)
well now my none pregnant brain is thinking differently.
is it annoying for a child to go by a nickname like that?? i’m considering legally changing her name to sophie but i would love some input, thank you :)
