Which Body Spray Scent?

I want to buy one of the body sprays, but I’m between a couple. I want to layer with the EOS Vanilla Cashmere, so I’m looking for something with similar notes, like vanilla, caramel, brown sugar without being super overbearingly sweet. I’ve heard good things about vanilla lace, rich vanilla, vanilla bean noel, cinnamon rolls, and vanilla waffle cones but let me know if I’m missing any other good ones!

Chance a rising senior with good stats but mid ECs for Columbia ED 🫪

Demographics: female, white, southern state (NOT Texas or Virginia cuz I’d be so cooked), fairly competitive public magnet school

Intended Major(s): PoliSci (+ psych?)

ACT/SAT/SAT II: 33 ACT superscore as of rn… I’m retaking in July to hopefully get math to at least a 30 so I’ll have a 34 but the enhanced math is not my friend…

UW/W GPA and Rank: 4.0 W/4.7 UW, No Rank

Coursework: 8 APs, 8 Honors + 7 APs next year

Awards: NHS, NHD States Qual, National French Contest, Some debate awards, AP scholar, student of the month once, prolly some scholarships

Extracurriculars (still have to decide which to include and the order + years are including senior year):

Founder + Editor in Chief of a youth literary magazine focused on combining arts and politics (2 years)
Founder of my local chapter of high school dems of America
Founder of a pen pal program for kids with the same chronic illness as me (2 years - really working on growing our impact this summer!)
Debate (4 years — council in senior year)
History Club (2 years — officer junior year, senior year president)
School Event Club (2 years — founder + president)
Very niche teen council at a local nonprofit cinema (4 years — council member)
Model UN (2 years — social media manager)
Internship w a Criminal Defense Lawyer (this summer)
TikTok Editing Account (4+ years — kinda mid but lots of views)
Worked/Helped out with my mother’s business (4+ years)

Extra Info - I do have a reason for most of my ECs starting junior year, but it’s kinda private so I’m not gonna post it online

LORs:
Science Teacher - 10/10 had for 2 years, we’re VERY close
History Teacher - 9/10, im prolly one of her favorite students but nothing like super personal
Counselor - 6/10, don’t really know him but he at least knows who I am lmao, at my school we actually fill out these papers to give to the counselor before they write our letters so that could def help

Essays: 7/10, I find it reaaaally hard to write abt myself, but I have a good idea (basically writing abt resilience from my chronic illness that I’ve had for 10+ years)

Supplementals: 9/10, im actually so excited for these and I knowww im gonna eat down

Also considering UPenn ED (communications w a politics + policy concentration & criminology majors)

I just can’t figure out the enhanced math 😭

I’ve taken the ACT 2 times, on the first test I got a 36 in English, 33 Reading, 33 Science, 27 Math with a 32 composite. I only studied for 2 days for this test and I felt super confident about taking it next year. So the next year (aka this March) I took it again after 3 weeks of studying and got a 32 composite AGAIN… my science was 30, Reading and English were 36, but my math went down to 24!!! (btw these were both school day tests). I genuinely don’t know what to do about this, but I tried the SAT twice cuz I heard the sat math was easier but it’s NOT. The SAT practice tests are sooo much easier and I was doing worse on the math and english sections, so I decided to go back to ACT to just study for the math section. The only problem is that there’s genuinely no resources for the enhanced ACT, as even the official practice exams are just reused and don’t actually reflect the difficulty of the new exam.

TLDR: I’m taking the July 11th ACT and hoping for a 30-32 in math for a 34-35 superscore… please give me some advice for studying because I’m genuinely terrified

How to maximize my chances for a 1500+ on Saturday

I’ve been studying for only 2 weeks (tbh more like 1 week since I took a 6 day break in the middle) and I really wanna get a 1500+ on Saturday’s test. I took the exam in May and got a 1360 (the RW really screwed me cuz the vocab was just super hard and I scored a whole 100 points lower than I was getting on the practice tests). I’m aiming for a 1500 at least, but hopefully a 1520+… what are some tips for me to really maximize my studying tomorrow to ensure I can at least get a 1500?? The main things I’m struggling on are science reading passages, really difficult constants problems, hard geometry, and kinda some percent questions (the ones that are like ‘x % of a, b is 83% of c, what’s d, etc)

So for some context I’m currently a junior. I attend a mid-size public magnet school in a fairly underrepresented state. I’m aiming for top schools, but I’m worried that my ECs (and awards but that’s a whole different issue) aren’t strong enough.

Here are my current ECs

  1. Debate - will do all 4 years
  2. Youth Council Member at this nonprofit/indie cinema near me - also will do all 4 years
  3. At least 100 service hours by senior year
  4. National Honor Society
  5. Part Time Job
  6. Founder + President of School Club )we basically help set up school events and we’re trying to incorporate some other community service-based aspects next year) — will be 2 years
  7. History Club (joined + officer this year, president next year)
  8. Upcoming internship w a lawyer this summer
  9. TikTok Editing Account - kinda mid but I’ve gotten like 40k+ views so if I start dedicating more time it might be a good activity to
  10. Model UN — joined this year and became the social media manager

I have a few passion project that I’m trying to get off the ground, but I’d also appreciate some advice on that 🙏🏻

I signed up kinda last minute so I’ve basically been cramming but now I’m in the final stretch so I want some more advice!! I’m aiming for at least a 1500… I feel good about RW but my information and ideas section is by far the worst. For math, I noticed that on practice test 7 I made quite a few simple mistakes on really easy questions that might’ve cost be a lot of points but I’m not sure
