Just checking it out

I’m dating after a 30 year marriage. I was on some of the apps a year ago, mostly ones geared towards older people, and I went on a couple of dates. Then I met a guy on match and we dated for a year, which ended when he texted me to say he needed to take a break!

This time I decided to try Facebook dating. Are all the scammers and bots women? Because I have an encountered any of that on any apps. Anyway, I set up my profile and match with a few people. All ordinary guys from what I can tell. I was messaging back-and-forth with one this evening and now we’re meeting for coffee tomorrow.
I kind of like this because then I’ll know if we’re compatible instead of getting tied up in all the messaging bullshit.

Wish me luck

Frustrations figuring out things on my own

I’m living alone for the first time in my life (58f) due to divorce. I just spent 45 minutes trying to hook up a printer. I got on Facebook marketplace to my network and it’s not working.
Before that, I had to uninstall crossbars on my car because the ones I ordered don’t work with the kayak rack I have.
Times like this I really hate living alone. I just don’t feel very good about my adulting skills these days!

I’m looking for advice for this large wall in my family room. The painted portion is 9 feet high and then there are vaulted ceilings. I just bought this compass, and I like it, but I’m unsure of how to decorate around it.

Any advice would be appreciated!

The wall color, furniture and rug are relatively new and staying. I will be adding a second blue chair in the future.
