How to clean all weather mats for Civic?

genuinely questions

For people who clean their own cars, do you usually vacuum first and then wash them, or is there a better method? Also curious what you guys use for stains that have been sitting there for a while

Trying to find a routine that doesn’t take half the day

4Runner 2024

Gave the interior a proper vacuum and clean. It's amazing how much a clean cabin changes the overall feel of the car.

What's one thing you do to keep your 4Runner's interior looking good between washes?

Spent the afternoon cleaning the car with my family

Finally I had a free afternoon yesterday, so I gave the car a proper wash inside and out with my family. I honestly didn't realize how dirty it had gotten until everything was clean again.

The interior wasn't terrible, but the floors definitely took the biggest beating. Between everyday driving, running errands, and throwing stuff in the cargo area, dirt just seems to build up without you noticing.

One thing I've come to appreciate is having all weather mats. Cleaning them is about as simple as pulling them out, giving them a quick rinse, and putting them back in. It saves me from having to spend forever trying to vacuum dirt out of the carpet, which used to be the most annoying part.

Now the whole interior actually feels fresh again. I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

Does anyone else get oddly motivated to take the long way home after cleaning their car, or is it just me?
