Just started playing the game, I’m in what I think is the second zone? I keep dying over and over again. I don’t understand how this game works.
These symbols are like gibberish to me… what do they mean?
Honestly, any info about how to play this game would be helpful. I don’t care about spoilers anymore, I’m that frustrated with it.

I’m making a cross stitch patch of the pocketwatch from Obra Dinn, and need help figuring out which colors to use for the inner ring of the project. I’ve provided pictures of the project and the in-game image.
I’m weighing a few options:
colors 1-4 as marked on the image as just solid colors
using the two greens I’ve already been using together (I use two strands at a time, so I’d use one light green and one dark green strand at once)
alternating the two greens I’ve been using in an every-other pattern
I’m open to suggestions… please help! Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I just finished Lady Ethereal’s boss fight and made it to the Grotto. Holy crap, are the enemies about five hundred times more difficult to deal with on purpose, or is it just me? I’m getting my ass handed to me by the random guys on the path. And don’t get me started on the minibosses I’m finding… the ninja lady in the Apemen Depths can get BENT.
I might just be a bit bad at the game but I haven’t noticed a difficulty spike like this before.
Brand new to Nine Sols!
I got to General Yingzhao last night, and I struggled on him for a LONG time. I couldn’t figure out the parry timing, it felt impossible… especially on the crimson attacks. I wondered how people found this fun.
Then I actually followed the in-game advice and let Yingzhao come to me rather than rushing him like an NFL player. That’s when I heard it: a little clicking sound that marked when I was supposed to parry. As soon as I noticed that, the game flipped on its head.
I had a BLAST. It was like a rhythm game! I really enjoyed the fight, even though it took me a little while longer to actually beat him.
To people struggling with Yingzhao, listen! He’ll give himself away.
Do other bosses in this game have similar auditory cues? I really hope so :)
Trying to decide if these deer teeth have gotten about as white as they’re gonna get, or if it’s worth sticking them back in the hydrogen peroxide stew for another day or so.
I found a deer jaw in a river yesterday and was able to extract two of the teeth.
I scrubbed them with soap and warm water first, and it got most of the mud off. For the last 30-ish hours, they’ve been soaking in 3% hydrogen peroxide.
This is my first time cleaning any kind of bone, so I have no idea if too much time in the stew will damage them.
Found what I think is a deer jaw bone by a local river. It doesn’t have any flesh on it, it seems like it’s been in the water for ages. I’d like to use the teeth to make some jewelry out of. Any advice on next steps to clean it up?
I’m in the middle of playing P3FES and got a cutscene with the Death confidant, and I wondered something.
Do Persona-users effectively get another hour of sleep? They’re not Transmogrified but they do still exist during the Dark Hour. If everyone else essentially timeskips that hour unless they get led on by the Voice, do Persona-users get more sleep than non-Persona-users?
