First round of 308-LMNOPXXX

Approx 2900fps muzzle, shoots 3/64 MOA@100. Berger 30cal 230gr Hybrid OTM Tactical. Extreme terminal bitches. It’s like getting run over by a spaceship. 140% bullet retention.

BTW the case comes out so cold it gave me frostbite

What is your favorite handheld priming tool.

This is a thread about handheld priming tools and which one you like. If you don’t like handheld priming tools keep scrolling because I don’t give a shit what you like instead. I like priming my small batch stuff on the couch with the dog.

I love the RCBS handheld priming tool but the plastic parts keep breaking. I’ve been using these things forever but I keep breaking the stupid little plastic feed chute.

The Sinclair looks awesome but putting primers in the tool one at a time is ridiculous

The Franklin armory looks good, I don’t like that it requires shell holders tho.

.308 with Varget

First time trying Varget with .308 and the starting load seems to be >100% case fill? Checked my scale 4 times (checked zero, verified calibration weights) but I can’t seem to fit 43gr of Varget in a Starline .308 case without compressing it so bad that it deforms the bullet! The bottle of powder even says 46gr?! 43gr. Seems to be all the way to the neck! Are any of you getting more than 43gr. of Varget in a .308 case? Am I going insane? Wtf
