This tattoo is my dads, he got it back in like 1979 ish when he was 15 ish

Hes worked outdoors most of his life and never uses sunscreen, held up alright in my opinion

Can I rewrap this on day 2, if I clean it throroughly and lightly moisturize it, with saranwrap for a couple of hours as I go to dinner?

I'm going for food with some colleagues I'd forgotten about the link up, its tattooed yesterday and I dont want my jeans rubbing against it, I usually wear shorts at work and whatnot

The top part is fresh, buildings and cctv

Not sure if I'm unclear or what

I'm not planning to keep the wrap on for days, just 2-3 hours and then taking it off again, not sure if some mightve misunderstood

Just did back 2 back, 6hr sessions on my leg, today (day after second session) shit hurts to walk on, left calf feels tight as hell when im walking, artist told me it could hurt a bit, but this is more than a bit i cant lie

Am i just tripping? My first of this size

UPDATE
Showered, cleaned it with natural soap and lukewarm water, let it air dry and put "pantothenol salve" on it, the moisturizing took the tightness out of it, which was most of the pain, now i'm just sore as if iv done legday 2 days in a row
