Hoi hoi. Ik merk dat ik bepaalde geluiden erg fijn vind.

De douche die loopt. Maar dat is meer dan alleen het stromende water. Ik denk dat de resonantie in de badkamer meespeelt. Of het gestroom door de leidingen. Het geeft het geluid meer body of een soort dreun, laagfrequent. Verder vooral dingen als de ruis van een zware airco of afzuiger. Ook dat heeft een soort krachtige, trillende of laagfrequente factor.

Bij de afzuiger ook denk ik weer door de soort ruimte van een badkamer. Soms blijf ik als ik ga douchen extra lang in de badkamer. Ik moet mijn best doen niet het water te laten lopen terwijl ik er niet eens onder sta, maar ik vind die combi van dat en afzuiger fijn. De laatste tijd met het warme weer heb ik 's nachts mijn mobiele airco aan laten staan en dat was qua geluid erg fijn. Het voelt juist leeg en kil als ik hem uitzet. Ik heb ook een mobiele ventilator maar die doet me qua geluid minder. Nu is dit niet heel praktisch laat staan goedkoop op de langere termijn. Althans, ik weet niet of een afzuiger misschien nog mee zou vallen, maar die heb ik niet op mijn kamer.

Een YouTube-video met dit soort geluid afspelen door m'n draagbare speaker (middelgroot) laat staan mijn telefoon doet me weinig. Met earbuds voelt ook niet helemaal hetzelfde, het kan dieper klinken maar je hebt niet het andere lichamelijke gevoel van het lage getril. Ik vroeg me dus af of iemand dit herkent en tips heeft. Misschien is het zo simpel als een grote speaker kopen. Maar goed. :)

Ik zit met een probleem dat misschien een luxeprobleem is, maar ik kan er geen weg mee vinden.

Door zuinig te leven en een tijd beschermd te hebben gewoond (met een lage eigen bijdrage), heb ik een spaarpotje opgebouwd. De verwachting is dat ik binnen een jaar of twee uitstroom naar een sociale huurwoning. Dat is denk ik de enige realistische optie met een Wajong-uitkering (29 jaar, alleenstaand).

Het probleem: mijn spaargeld zit ruim boven de vermogensgrens voor huurtoeslag (2026: €38.479). Zonder huurtoeslag is de huur een groot beslag op mijn maandinkomen. Ik zie het al gebeuren: ik moet maandelijks van mijn spaargeld gaan bijbetalen, tot ik onder de grens kom, en dan pas krijg ik toeslag. Dan is mijn buffer opgegeten aan huur, precies wat ik niet wil. Een koopwoning kan ik me tegelijkertijd ook niet veroorloven. En als ik al een hypotheek zou krijgen, krijg ik ook dan geen huurtoeslag.

Ik snap dat dit het systeem waarschijnlijk eerlijker maakt, maar ik wilde mijn spaargeld juist gebruiken als buffer voor de lange termijn: voor onverwachte kosten, een klein beetje levenskwaliteit boven het bestaansminimum, en als aanvulling op mijn later pensioen. Ik ben pas 29, dus dat gaat over tientallen jaren. Dit systeem voelt voor mij niet echt gemaakt voor Wajongers voor wie vermogen een levenslange buffer is. Ik dacht er laatst nog aan om een spaarrekening te openen of een deel van mijn geld te gaan beleggen, maar dat gaat dan mogelijk een beetje "voor niets" zijn.

Ik heb online tot nu toe alleen iets over een gemeentelijke tegemoetkoming gelezen, maar die lijkt alleen voor partners.

Ik vroeg me af of er meer Wajongers (of andere uitkeringsgerechtigden) zijn die tegen deze situatie aanlopen? Heeft iemand een (legale) manier gevonden om je vermogen te beschermen en niet te laten opeten aan huur? Of is het toch het beste en het meest rustgevend om me over te geven aan een onvermijdelijke daling van mijn opgebouwde vermogen?

What plot holes did the Winx Club TV movies have? Let me kick things off with a few that stand out to me.

Story-related inconsistencies:

• In the segment adapted from episode 7, the Winx lose their powers without any logical explanation. It’s not framed as a punishment, nor is it justified why they’re alone at the school.
• Sky never explicitly breaks up with Diaspro on-screen. We’re simply left to assume it happened.
• During the homesickness spell and the scene where Icy follows the Pixies home, the time of day seems to shift awkwardly. Likely because footage was stitched together from two different episodes without much care.

Season 3 continuity issues:
While I know season 3 is essentially a re-dub of the old English version with minor dialogue tweaks, it still creates avoidable inconsistencies within the Nick continuity:

• In 3x04, Faragonda says obtaining Charmix was last year's passing requirement. But the TV movies had re-dubbed the basic transformation as Charmix, so it was no longer something you earned.
• In Nick's season 3, the base form is once again called Magic Winx.
• The reanimated transformation sequences and the "Power of Charmix" song from the movies are dropped in favor of the original season 1-3 animations, making the transition from the movies feel jarring. Stella's redesigned scepter also disappears. Not a huge loss, but it makes me wonder why those visual and audio changes were made at all if they weren't carried forward.
• Avalon is revealed to be Darkar in disguise, so his incidental appearances in season 3 now look like animation errors when viewed after the movies.
• Lord Darkar is referred to only as the Shadow Phoenix in the movies, but in season 3, he's called Darkar both times he's mentioned, creating another naming mismatch.

What did I miss? Or do you disagree with any of these?

How come they die and explode in space? There's no salt in space. They don't need oxygen either from what I remember so what is it that makes them able to live on the ship but instantly die outside if not oxygen?

Why didn't they ask Orange why she was killing crewmates? Or more about the aliens? Etc.

She seemed pretty chill and open to me before she got rejected. She easily admitted she was going to continue killing crewmates. So maybe she would've told more about what was going on had they simply asked her.

What do you think, what would she have answered? And would she even be willing to tell Green was involved as well? How would the story have continued?

EDIT: 2. Also, do you think Orange secretly knew what the orbs/eggs were before being infected?

Anyway, wondering what people think of those, also in comparison to each other as to the recently released official series.

Just wondering how potentially a season 2 could work without feeling repetitive, now that we already know how it works and what the vulnerability of the alien parasites is.

I'm genuinely wondering what happened behind the scenes. Is this common practice? I can hardly imagine. Seems unfair to both crew and fans. And dumb, since the hype around the game was probably greater back in 2024.

Also, could there be a second season?

Just binged the show!

1. Isn't Mira the name of a different map? The map in the show looks more like the Skeld but I've only heard the name Mira, not Skeld.

2. Were Green and Orange never real people from the start? Were they alien shapeshifters right from the start? Is Green's backstory with the farm and worms fake then?

3. How was Brown killed? Everyone was in the cafeteria.

4. Why do the aliens want to kill the crewmates, and what else do they want? What's their purpose or goal?
