My VPS tmux claude remote control sessions keep crashing.
I have a Vultr instance with 16 GB of RAM. I SSH and run or resume a tmux session, then "claude remote-control --worktree," so I can use my phone to run most of my Claude code sessions.
but they keep randomly crashing after working on long tasks, and it's very annoying. Am I missing something obvious or a quirk about CC, or should I try to diagnose the issue as my individual case?
When making polishing changes, how do I make Claude look just at that one file/section of code?
Sometimes all I need small scoped changes. How do I stop Claude from reading too much or the whole codebase and waste precious tokens?
My late brother's iPhone is now icloud locked, and his widowed wife is seeking my assistance
My brother passed away in a car accident last month. His wife has just asked for my help in unlocking his iPhone (16 Pro Max).
My parents brought up this subject earlier today to me since she seems to be desperately sentimental about it. Fortunately, everyone is in agreement that my brother's privacy is a priority. They just wish to reset and access the phone for regular use.
I seatched a bit and there seems to be expensive software tools that promise little, so I decided to ask for help here in case there is a better alternative.
How pain in the ass is Arch?
Hi, I've dipped my toes in linux here and there in the past but played it safe by using Ubuntu mostly.
But Linux Arch has been in the back of my mind for so long because the idea of having full control of the components of my system like what desktop manager if any to use is attractive to me. I'm comfortable with the CLI and package managers, but not very advanced. Is Arch something someone with my goals should try?
For as long as I remember, software on public tracker has been the way most people get infected with malware. I don't bother with it unless I'm feeling particularly risky that day.
There's been a growing cult for FitGIrlRepacks, and I guess most of the appeal is the trust she has built and consistently mainted over the years. But I can't find anything but shady sources for other type of software. There are I guess private trackers, but it's not straightforward to be a member of the club.
Is all hope lost, or are there places/people online who do God's work? And who have built a name for themselves?
