QF F: Seat selection
Apologies, second similar post. We booked another QF F and this time most of the seats are open. What would be the best seat for a parent with two kids, 3 and 4 years old. 12+ hour overnight flight. Kids are pretty self sufficient, have flown in individual seats before (never on QF first), but will need help during meals and restroom visits. Currently in 1A, 1B, 1C. Should we switch to 4F, 4K, and 5K? Or move back and take 3A, 4A, 5A if it opens before departure or ask if still open at airport?
QF F Amenity Kit + Pajamas
Looking for opinions on the QF F new amenity kit and pajamas. Are they an improvement over the previous version? Are these current on all QF F long haul? Travelling with 2 kids - don't think they will fit in them.
Couldn't find another post on it apart from one on the amenity kit from 5 months ago.
QF A380 First: Questions
What would be the best seat for a parent with two kids, 3 and 4 years old. 12+ hour overnight flight. Kids are pretty self sufficient, have flown in individual seats before (never on QF first), but will need help during meals and restroom visits. Currently in 4F, 4K, and 5K. My logic was I might be able to keep an eye on both but looking at the pictures it seems like between the seats being angled away and the seat-back partitions, there is no line of sight. Should I switch to 3K instead? I'd like a window too lol and might have a better line of sight standing up and looking behind? But if I have to stand up, I guess 4F is also OK?
I have seen some videos of people sitting across from each other in one seat. Do they allow this during dinner? If they do, could I have one kid in lap and one across?
Is the galley behind 5 busy/noisy? In that case could move to 2K, 3K, 4K.
Anything else I should know or do? How can I get the most out of the experience? Flight, lounge...anything else?
