- Need gun for bear defense + ccw (i carry g19 with buffalo bore currently for outdoor defense) and I like how its dual use for ccw and woods just by switching ammo

which model to get-mp 2.0 4.6 or 5.6 performance center?

do i even need 10mm or the bb hardcast 9mm is enough ?

edit: reason why im asking even though the logical decision is clearly the 4.6 because i want to ccw it also is that ive been reading horrid things about its reliability and everyone recommends the performance center and tbh i think the main priority of the pistol is going to be bear defense and i dont mind an extra inch of barrel length for ccw…however if the problems in the 4.6 are ironed out then ill go with the 4.6

edit 2 : the comp 4.0 version isnt on the list and i dont want that one anyways so its basically 4.6 or 5.6

After heavily researching this topic i’ve came to the staunch conclusion that the “80-90% of people don’t ever get symptoms is completely fabricated bs.

I’m interested in conducting a poll on this sub for a specific subset of people

Please let me know when you got symptoms after exposure only if you meet the following criteria:

a) you were completely hsv1 AND hsv2 negative before exposure (you have verified tests of being totally negative before your encounter with someone that’s positive) And i’m referring to people totally naive to both before exposure because having hsv1 since childhood which is super common does actually make silent mild or asymptomatic symptoms much more likely for genital herpes because of cross antibody protection (which isn’t even encounted for in this bs statistic just like all the other bs things surround this whole topic)

b) you meticulously checked for symptoms on genitals or lips for at least 20-30 days after your encounter and noticed zero symptoms and you actually knew what herpes symptoms look like (surprisingly they asked a bunch of people if they got symptoms and most people saying no didn’t even realize they actually DID get symptoms they just thought it was something else! like they legit don’t know the difference between a ingrown hair or folliculitis and an actual “mild” herpes lesion so that ignorance also gets lumped into that stat)

c) you didn’t have a fever or any other systematic response in general including muscle ache, fatigue, headaches etc

What % of people that actually meet the following criteria end up being positive for either hsv 1 or hsv 2 after 20-30 days of no symptoms and met the above criteria? this should really end the bs “asymptomatic” stat…cant believe they don’t have stringent lab experiments in this! can’t belive they don’t even include this std panel tests! can’t belive a lot of things surround this herpes clusterfuck ! can’t belive the cdc doesn’t even recommend testing! lol 2020 world got shut down for a virus that was not lifelong and did not cause psychological warfare on people like herpes does (stigma shame disclosure pain romantically screwed ) and here we are with a supposed “lifelong” virus and they don’t even recommend testing?! what is the medical community smoking?

-i purposely stopped talking to her because of this. She didn’t give me a choice to decide. She wanted to see me again but I couldn’t stomach looking at her face knowing she withheld something like that. And no she wasn’t a random stranger. I knew her a year prior. And she knew I was insanely health conscious. I’ve educated myself about this recently and it doesn’t seem like a big deal but the lying was what the problem. I dated a woman with hsv1 for years without ever getting it from her. idgaf about herpes but the ommission would hurt me really bad if I do get infected
-she definitely still wanted to see me and start something long term or even casual but at this point i’m starting to think with my brain and i’m actually pretty disgusted with the lie given that she’s a medical professional.
