Anyone try Vans Wide?

Anyone try Vans Wide?

I've been looking for a barefoot/wide toe box skate shoe for a long while but haven't found anything that scratches that Vans itch. These Vans wide look interesting, but they still seem narrow in the toe box. They look to be in that "better than regular, worse than barefoot" style.

There is Splay shoes but they're always out of stock on my size (11.5/45) or don't even carry the size, which is super frustrating because I'd jump on them instantly. I've been wearing Whitins for the past few years, which are great for toe box feel but they're definitely cheap quality and a bit thin for my preference.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Help with 15.75 400mm radius?

Hi I just picked up an Ibanez RGRT421 and it's awesome but when trying to set it up it's got a radius of 15.75" or 400mm, and it seems a gauge for that radius isn't sold anywhere? I set it up using a 16" and its fine but you know how it is wanting it to be perfect.

What do you guys recommend? Thanks

Would you be with a guy who would couldn't have kids / only adopt?

23M Straight to the point, a bit of a rant, and probably a difficult read for some.

It recently dawned on me that I'm 100% probably on the spectrum. From my personality, interests, and family it's so obvious. My brother is severely autistic and will never live on his own and I'm sure our father is also on the spectrum. I'm not diagnosed but it makes more sense if it's the case than not.

I've always known I was different but wanted to be "normal" and have a family. I always thought that if I really worked on myself that I could be made right and do this. I've been doing this since high school and now am very successful and ahead for my age.

But this begs the question, if autism spectrum disorder is largely genetic then that means there's a big chance that my children would be on the spectrum. If they were autistic there's no telling just how severe it'd be. I don't like the chances, therefore it seems having biological children is out of the question.

This is such a crushing feeling, my self worth as a man feels so destroyed. There's no fixing a hereditary genetic disorder. I can't even imagine trying to date just to tell a woman all this. I finally felt ready to give dating a go again after being single for a few years, but this realization has thrown me off.

I'm open to adoption but it really seems that most women want their own biological children, but I also know that pregnancy is extremely traumatic for many women and choose not to have biological children.

I'm not saying autistic people shouldn't have children and would never tell someone that but I know how difficult it is on both sides of the spectrum and don't believe this is something I'd voluntarily take a chance on and force someone and their family to live with.

Questions about Floyd Rose Special

I recently picked up a new Jackson Warrior, phenomenal guitar it's my first Jackson, and it has a FR Special.

I've had Floyd's before like the Ibanez Edge and set it up perfectly it never went out of tune it was amazing. But this Floyd Rose Special has given me nothing but trouble.

The bar is useless because it instantly goes out of tune and even just sitting over night needs a retune.

I've read online how the Special wasn't great but could last a while before needing a replacement but it's only been a few weeks and it's almost worthless.

I'm thinking of getting a Tremel No or just going in on a Schaller or Original Floyd. Thoughts?

Bonds in your twenties? New to investing help

I'm in my early 20s and ready to jump into investing and I am trying to decide a proper stock/bond allotment before I pull the trigger.

Of course, bonds are a staple of the Bogel head method of investing but since I have so much time before retirement, I was curious if I should even have bonds at all this young? I'm heavily considering going full stocks and slowly adding bonds as I age, but it seems I wouldn't even add bonds until at least until my mid thirties, more than a decade away.

Is this a sound approach? What do you guys think?
