Republican drama with great visuals

Hello! I’ve seen a lot of CDrama but havent seen one set in the Republican era. I’m heavy on believability of period details not just in eastern but also western dramas. Please recommend some CDramas that have great period detail, beautiful cinematography, would prefer to see well-constructed qipao, good tailoring, etc. Of course good writing and acting as well. Would love to get my feet wet in this era. I’d like to respectfully request as well to add details to your recommendations; i would really appreciate reading why you think I would enjoy it, not just placing the title. Thank you very much!

Historical dramas with well-written, well-earned romance

Hello! Looking for a historical but willing to try wuxia or xianxia but only if truly highly recommended. I’ve seen lots of dramas where there’s romance but it takes a backseat to leads’ quest for truth about the past (Unveil: Jadewind), fighting evil (Moonlit Reunion), political struggling (Pursuit of Jade, Princess Royal) or some combination of that things and in the end, I feel that the romance is half-baked. Preferably with intense pining/yearning, striking chemistry between the leads, romantic tension, outpours of emotion, grand speeches or gestures. A straightforward, angstless drama is okay too but hopefully still very romantic. But, I'd also prefer not to wait until 20+ episodes for some kind of action. Bonus points for skinship.

Here are some of my most recent C-Drama watches and how I liked the romance:

-Pursuit of Jade: loved this one because it starts heavy on the leads trying to find love in their quaint little town. I wish the dialogue was better written or more romantic. The killing pigs to support her husband was cute only the first 2x tbh. ZLH face card did the heavy lifting as a romantic lead, didn’t have much to do dialogue-wise

-Moonlit reunion: romance feels unearned here but the leads are good looking? The secondary couple had more to do romance-wise.

- The Princess Royal: Chemistry itself isn't electrifying IMO but the story itself does some heavy lifting, like it’s an estranged married couple finding their way back into love. Super loved the concept but the execution into the script isn’t the best. ZLH’s character gets a lot of showing and speaking about his feelings.

- Perfect Match: didn't expect to love this so much but I did! not a lot of yearning and pining here though. I loved the 4th sister and her husband falling into love. Surprisingly loved the slice of life, lighter situation. Very comforting watch.

-The Double - Dropped. the revenge is taking center stage and I'd like more interaction.

Please, sisters give me recs that will make my heart wrench, flutter, and sing!

What career opportunities are there for MDs who plan to take up Law?

Hi, recent passer here. Ruled out residency during JI and senior internship years. I saw there are some doctors who pursue law school after PLE since is more or less same time commitment as residency. If ability is not an issue, what careers are available aside from “teacher ng legal med at juris?” I heard medico legal can be trained naman even by GP. Is there any career path unlocked exclusively by also being a lawyer? Thanks in advance po

Hello! Looking for shows that have the same design aesthetic as the previous two shows, which lean heavily on “historical” clothing/architecture details. I know that there are some anime that’s historical, but many don’t have rich visuals that you can really sink into. The temple and palace scenes in FY changed my brain chemistry and i’m trying SM next. I’ve seen and liked Apothecary Diaries too. Not necessarily looking for ancient China-based cultures but something lush, crisp, and detailed.

Thanks in advance!
