where can i see a beaver (the animal)
i've lived in this so-called "beaver state" for almost three years and i have yet to see a beaver. where are they? where can i look at one? are they real?

first things first, the first picture looks sad and empty bc it's from when i first moved into my apartment. when i first started getting furniture for my first ever place, i decided to go for a more scandinavian route but less beige and more warm. but now, i'm feeling like my tastes have changed. i'm really starting to like the vintage kind-of-maximalist moody and dark look. but i can't paint my walls and i've already spent so much to get to where i'm at now. not sure what to do: stick with what i've started, or change everything? is the moody look even achievable with white walls?
i really do love eugene and the uo students i've met here are nice. but i feel like we have enough student housing. i'm someone who definitely cannot afford that "rent per person" crap and i'm also not a student, just a typical resident of eugene with a job here (i job that i like!). i really wish we'd build more actual affordable housing so i can live here and continue contributing to a city i love. i guess i just feel forgotten, like the city is pushing me out. anyone else feel this way? or just me lol
i'm sure there's gonna be pride events in the city this month but does anyone know like, which ones are happening and where lol
might be a silly question but this mother's day, we're celebrating the shop's 104th year anniversary!! i really want to gift my boss something, but would it be too easy to gift her flowers? or would a bottle of wine would be better? if any florist has experience getting gifts for your boss who is also a florist, any advice is greatly appreciated!
