Was on Slynd for only 8 months after not taking hormonal birth control for several years. I’m just curious if it could’ve been a trigger for the pain I’ve been having, which only started in January. I’ve officially been off of it for a few days. Has anyone else tested this?

Traveling from DFW, TX 11/7-11/14. Two adults, M and F. Don’t care for all inclusives/resorts and feel good about staying at vrbos/bnbs in safe areas. Aware of it being the end of hurricane season and don’t care. Just looking for warm weather, nice beaches, great food, opportunities to hike, and local culture vs touristy areas. Was looking at the Caribbean so would prefer recs for countries/islands there but open to anywhere. I originally thought of the ABC islands but heard mixed reviews of it being very Americanized there- but maybe y’all can shed light on your own experiences.

Or vice verse- if I blocked someone, if they deactivated or deleted their account, would their name disappear from my blocked profiles list?

I’ve been putting off this trip for way too long, but it’s been almost 20 years since my mom has seen her family and I really wanna go too. I also feel FOMO that travel influencers are seeing my ancestral homeland but I’m too chicken. I’m hoping we can plan something for end of Jan or Feb. We’d fly from TX, so the 15 hour flight to Qatar or Dubai, plus the additional 5 hours to Kerala sounds absolutely INSANE. What do you even do for that long on a plane? I can’t even sleep on them so I’ll just be sleep deprived :/

I’ve always wondered how pilots get up and continue to go to work after certain incidents happen (DC, air India, etc). Is there anything that specifically helps you process these disasters and keep flying with confidence? Do you just push through because you have to? Or, real talk, do you also deal with the anxiety a lot of us do afterwards?

I haven’t flown in 3 years and it’s been so helpful browsing this sub and taking away tips, tricks and tracking others flights. Of course I haven’t slept as much as I should, and I’m fighting my nerves. Would anyone be able to follow me along on my journey? AA474

Sounds simple but I do not understand why my out of pocket costs aren’t going towards my deductible? I have $1300 under “Individual integrated out-of-pocket” but $0 met on my deductible.
