Coraline in the World of Horrors — Scenic Design Concept
A series of stage design sketches created by me for an imagined theatrical adaptation of Coraline. 🗝️🌙
These concepts explore Coraline’s world as a strange, dreamlike space where childhood wonder slowly slips into something unsettling. Familiar rooms become distorted, colors grow almost unnaturally vivid, and every playful detail carries a quiet sense of danger.
I wanted the set itself to feel alive — somewhere between a dollhouse, a childhood memory, and a nightmare. A world that looks inviting from afar, but becomes increasingly disturbing the longer you stay inside it.
