A believer’s character is shown by how they treat women—with mercy, respect, patience, and kindness. Following the example of the Prophet ﷺ means honoring and treating them well in all situations.

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted on the day of ’Ashura and commanded the people to fast, they said, “O Messenger of Allah, it is a day that the Jews and Christians honor.” He said: “If I live until next year, I will surely fast the ninth (as well).”
“The year is twelve months, of which four are sacred: three consecutive months Dhul-Qa’dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram and Rajab.”
“The best fasting after Ramadan is Allah’s month, Muharram.”

“Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah from the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred.”

Muharram is one of the four sacred months. Increase in repentance, dhikr, good deeds, and fasting—especially on the Day of Ashura along with the 9th or 11th of Muharram.

“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.”

“Indeed, Allah conferred a great favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.”

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whomever Allah intends good for, He gives him understanding of the religion.”

“And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.”

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques.”

Today, the Kiswa of the Ka’bah is renewed, reminding us that while the covering of the House of Allah changes, the message it stands for never changes: Tawheed, obedience, sincerity, and submission to Allah.

Millions of eyes look toward the Ka’bah every day, but the true success is for the heart to remain connected to the Lord of the Ka’bah.
The Kiswa is renewed once a year; let us renew our repentance, faith, and remembrance of Allah every day.

“Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.”

“And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, ‘These are our intercessors with Allah.’”

Learn the difference, protect your tawheed, and be sincere in every act of worship for Allah alone.

“O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.”
Surah: Fatir | ayat:15

The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah said: “O My servants, you will never reach harming Me so as to harm Me, and you will never reach benefiting Me so as to benefit Me…”

Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “Allah is free of need of the worlds, and the benefit of obedience returns to the servant just as the harm of disobedience returns to him.”

REMINDER: Allah does not need your deeds —your deeds is for you. Every prayer, every good deed is for your own success. You are the one in need, so turn to Him sincerely before you return to Him.

May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى forgive and guide me and you.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him ten times.”
“Among the best of your days is Friday. So send many blessings upon me on that day, for your blessings are presented to me.”

Friday is not just a holiday — it is a day of worship, mercy, and forgiveness. Increase in Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ, make sincere du’a, recite Surah Al-Kahf, attend Jumu’ah properly, and spend the day remembering Allah. Every Salawat you send reaches the Prophet ﷺ, and Allah sends mercy upon you in return.

Children are an amanah from Allah. Parents duty isn’t just to raise them for this life, but to prepare them for what comes after. Haya is from faith—it shapes their character and keeps their heart connected to Allah.

If Deen is not taught, the world will fill that space on its own. So teach them salah, haya, and Qur’an early—because dunya can be learned anytime, but Deen is what guides them when it truly matters.

“So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.”
Surah: Al-Kahf | ayah: 110

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Actions are but by intentions, and every person shall have only what he intended.”
“Whoever does an action which is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected.”

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “The righteous deed is that which is based upon sincerity to Allah and following the Messenger ﷺ. These are the two conditions for every act of worship to be accepted.”
Imam Ibn Kathir رحمه الله said: “These two pillars are the foundation of accepted deeds: that they be sincerely for Allah and in accordance with the Shari‘ah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”

Reminder: A deed is only accepted when it is sincere for Allah and in accordance with the Sunnah. So before every action, ask yourself: “Is this for Allah?” and “Did the Prophet ﷺ teach this?”

May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى, make all our deeds purely for His sake, in accordance with the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ .

Yet there are others who say, “Our Lord! Grant us the good of this world and the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.”
Surah Al-Baqarah | ayah:201

Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه reported: “The most frequent supplication of the Prophet ﷺ was: ‘Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.’”

Ibn Kathir (Tafsir al-Qur’an al-‘Azim): He explains that this verse gathers all forms of goodness in this life and the next, and the believer should consistently include it in his supplications.

This dua is not just a request — it is a complete way of asking Allah for balanced success and trusts Allah to give what is truly best.

“They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.”
Surah Az-Zumar | ayah: 67

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah will grab the earth and roll up the heavens in His right Hand, then, He will say: ‘I am the King. Where are the kings of the earth?’”

The greatness of the creation points to the greatness of the Creator. Reflect upon Allah’s signs, increase in awe of Him, and worship Him alone.

Allah says: “Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.”
Surah Al-Isra | ayah:9

The greatest success is not wealth, status, or recognition — but being chosen by Allah to live with His Book.

To be among the Ahl al-Qur’an is a mercy greater than anything the world can offer. Learn it, live it, and let it shape your heart, actions, and entire life.

As the Sheikh said: knowledge without action is incomplete — the Qur’an was revealed to be lived, not only recited.

Seeing Shaykh al-Fawzan حفظه الله standing in prayer despite his old age is a powerful reminder for all of us. May Allah grant him good health and benefit us from his knowledge.

Today, many people leave standing in Salah for very small reasons — slight tiredness, minor pain, or simple discomfort — even though Allah has still given them the ability to stand. But the people of knowledge and righteousness understood the greatness of standing before Allah.

Allah said:
“And stand before Allah with devotion.” (Surah al-Baqarah | ayah:238)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Pray standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot, then lying on your side.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, 1117)

This Hadith shows an important principle:
Standing in the obligatory prayer is the الأصل (basic obligation) for the one who is able. A person only moves to praying while sitting when he genuinely cannot stand, or standing causes real hardship or harm.

Shaykh Ibn Baz رحمه الله said: “The obligatory prayer must be performed standing by the one who is able. If he is unable due to illness or hardship, then he may pray sitting.”

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “It is not permissible for a person to pray sitting in the obligatory prayer while he is able to stand.”

And Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan حفظه الله said: “Whoever is able to stand in the obligatory prayer, then standing is obligatory upon him.”

This does not mean Islam ignores sickness or weakness. Allah does not burden a soul beyond its ability. Those who truly cannot stand are rewarded fully by Allah and are excused.

But the reminder here is about laziness and carelessness toward Salah.

When an elderly scholar still struggles to stand before Allah in prayer, it should make us question ourselves: How quickly have we become weak in worship while still having strength in our bodies?

Reminder: The righteous valued every moment they could still stand before Allah — because they knew a day may come when they no longer can.
