Bad luck at its finest 😭

My birthday is in 3 days, so I bought myself a pair of earrings.

It broke before it even reached home.

Feels like this year is gonna go the same way too🥲

Why is this considered a “boys thing"?

Guys bear with me. Konjam long aa pogum!

Why are so many guys like this?

I’ve had a few experiences that made me wonder if I’m overthinking or if this is actually common.

The first guy I dated was my classmate (tamil) very caring and gave me a lot of attention at first, but after around 6 months he started ignoring me. He kept adding random girls on Instagram, calling them beautiful, and even texting those girls things like “don’t call me bro, that’s sad.”

When I confronted him, he said he wasn’t doing anything wrong and that liking glamorous girls posts is just “normal boys stuff.” We eventually broke up.

After that, another guy proposed to me. Before accepting, we exchanged Instagram accounts (my idea). When I checked his likes, it was again full of random glamorous girls reels or posts. I got fed up and told him I wasn’t interested.

Later I met a guy from Canada(actual Canadian guy) through my cousin’s work connection. He was genuinely respectful, soft-spoken, and treated women normally (neither glorifying nor treating ill, just as fellow humans🤍) without constantly following, liking or hyping random girls online.

I started liking him, but I knew it wouldn’t work because of some reasons and now he’s happily committed to another girl (lucky girl she is!)

This made me wonder:

Why do so many Tamil guys (not all obviously) act like checking out, following, and hyping other girls while being committed is just a normal “boys thing”?

Am I expecting too much or is this actually disrespectful in a relationship? Open to criticism too.

Guys long post so tanglish la type panna may be thappu varalam so i posted this in english!!
