Davinci-like color correction in OBS ?

hi!

is there any color correction plugin that can handle highlights / shadows?
or am I left with using LUTs only?

or a bit crazy one: any way to "insert" Davinci as a video filter, or use it before the signal enters OBS?

how do you deal with adjusting the color?

- -

would be lovely to have Log video adjusted to the liking before streaming without using LUTs (not adjustable on the fly)

this is to achieve in camera Log recording at the same time as streaming

is SmallRig Hawklock RELIABLE for ultra adjustable portable rig?

Hi,

I understand camera rigs are highly personal, so I will try to explain my weird needs first. 😄

First, I want a solid piece of kit.
I prefer not spending too much money if possible.
But still, solid quality and reliability first.
I don't mind a mix of gear brands.

Using Sony A7S III, Sony A7R V and happy with them.

I will need some kind of a half/full cage, soon will be adding, a 7" high brightness screen + some kind of larger battery for it, and would also like a top handle.

I also often use camera for tripod mounted landscapes, overhead mounted for some pixel shift multi shoot documentation, and also a lot of handheld with a small hot shoe mounted wireless flash. Audio is always separate.

SO

I was checking out SmallRig system, and I like the idea of changing the setup quickly as needed, to list a few scenarios:

  1. documentation work:
    - arca plate / cage only -> geared head -> superclamp -> overhead tube
    - USB-C power

  2. handheld:
    - added flash trigger
    - mostly using the viewfinder, internal battery

  3. outdoor video:
    - added 7" screen + battery, maybe top handle, maybe larger battery?
    - I am ok with internal camera battery time and internal recording

My goals would be:

- the smallest and lightest cage
- easy to remove from the rigging for "camera only"
- fast top handle attachment when low angles are wanted
- fast screen attachment to the cage, OR to the handle, if present
- in hopes to avoid a heavy battery on the screen, easy to add some kind of battery plate mounting onto the kit
- i don't want / need a side handle, my left hand is on the lens

QUESTIONS:

  1. how is your opinion for / against using a rod system ?

  2. do you have experience with the Hawklock ? is it SOLID af ?

  3. is there any real world noticeable attachment speed difference compared to NATO rail?

  4. is a half cage being solid enough for 7" screen + mount + battery + handle? approx. 1kg

ALL practical responses with good reasoning are much appreciated!

unable to update or install Logi+ on MacOS 15.6.1

Using Logitech products for quite some years now.

Clicked prompt to auto update the app.

Now its stuck hanging at the Grant Login permission screen.

It is granted, but not detected by the app.

Removing the app, and trying to install it again from Logi Options+ Installer does not work either. Says just Unable to install Options+, nothing else, or a real reason for what the problem actually could be.

What am I supposed to do?

Just wanted to pair a new keyboard with a Bolt receiver I already have - because it does not come with its own receiver for some reason.. Wouldnt it be nice to have more of them, as a main selling point is exactly that?
