Just finished this new series capturing Cape Poge and the Wasque trail.

I wanted to capture that classic, isolated atmosphere we all know so well out here—especially the light hitting Cape Poge Lighthouse and the mood along the trail at Wasque. There is just something about the coast on this side of Chappy that you can't find anywhere else.

I’ve been focusing heavily on maritime and coastal landscapes lately, but these specific spots are always some of my absolute favorites to bring to life. Thought this group might appreciate the views!

(The original canvases and archival prints are available if anyone is looking to add a piece of Chappy to their collection—just shoot me a message!)

"Farewell and adieu to you, fair Spanish ladies..." My recent painting of Quint’s final moments

I wanted to paint this iconic scene from an entirely different perspective—looking out through the cabin windows as the Orca goes down. Tried to really capture the raw chaos, the spray of the water, and the sheer terror of that final look.

Jaws has always been a massive influence on my work, and capturing the texture of this moment was a fun challenge.

What’s your favorite scene or piece of lore from the movie?

Provincetown Light — My recent 8x10 painting of the Pilgrim Monument

I wanted to capture that sharp, brilliant afternoon light striking the monument over the harbor. There’s a specific, unmistakable energy to the air out at the tip of the Cape, and I tried to let the brushwork reflect that feeling.

Spent a lot of time working on the clouds and the way the shadows fall over the town below. Always love looking out and seeing this structure anchoring the horizon.

Anyone Remember the Chappaquiddick Chimneys?

I wanted to capture a piece of the Vineyard's history before coastal erosion completely claimed it and washed them out to sea. There’s always been a cinematic, haunting mood to this spot that stuck with me, so I put together this pair to keep that memory alive.

Did any of you get to see them in person before they went under?
