What’s your craziest fan theory or headcanon?

Just wondering what everyone’s most messed up theories and HC’s are.

My personal HC is that Catachan is actually a living creature (similar to a Tyranid) rather than a normal planet. Its flora and fauna are moulded by the planet to become the perfect defence mechanism against outside forces. Even the humans that landed became a more deadly version of themselves and, in the event of an invasion, they would work alongside the rest of the world to expel the enemy. They are the planet’s living immune system

So my wife is rewatching the avengers in prep for Doomsday and brought up a question that stumped me.

First, she asked “why is the mind stone yellow when the gem on the sceptre is blue?” Which was easy enough to just explain away as the blue crystal is simply the container for the gem and probably helps focus and harness the energy (same way Ronan attaches the power stone to his hammer).

But then came the question that stumped me. “If the stone is yellow then why does it still shoot blue?” (again that’s probably down to the containing crystal) “and why does it turn peoples eyes blue when it controls them?”

That last part is what stumped me. I even googled it and couldn’t find any clear explanation. My assumption was that they only decided later that the sceptre contained the mind stone but that was a pure guess. Have any writers or higher ups explained this?

As we know from DH, the Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron were both alive at the time of the Hogwarts founders. My question is simple, are they the first of the Hogwarts ghosts or did older ghost gravitate towards the school once it was established as a sort of safe haven?

Better yet, why do the ghosts haunt Hogwarts? Other than Moaning Myrtle and Professor Binns, none of them died on the grounds (that I’m aware of) so why stay at Hogwarts?

Also, the house ghosts? Were they elected? If not, how are they chosen?
