Tips for a particular match up

This is kind of a weird one, but I started duoing with this guy on our mains as Swain/Jhin (I was the Jhin), and after a while we got bored and swapped to other mains, Shen and Senna. But we were up against a Lux sup and Samira. Was this just a bad match up for us?

I feel like Samira is sort of countered by both Senna and Shen, as Senna is non-projectile mostly, and Shen can taunt her to mess her combo up and let you land a root.

But, my Shen was basically scared of Lux the entire laning phase, and I'm scared of both of them, but willing to put it on the lane to outplay and win.

And the Samira and Lux decided before the game started to sacrifice as much cs as possible to not let me have any souls (they just stayed a screen away all game long).

Is there anything I can do in this situation?

Like, how things would generally go is: Frozen wave mid lane, Senna last-hitting. Samira and Lux far away. Shen in a bush. One of them gets brave enough to be Q'd through the wave, or rooted along the side of it. It lands, they back off. I can't really walk up to even farm a soul because Lux is holding all abilities, with Samira next to her, and Shen isn't close enough to do anything, plus honestly they're fairly close to their turret.

Could my Shen have played differently to achieve a better outcome? Could I have done something differently?

Were we just screwed when we locked in Shen vs Lux or something?

Questions about classic (clueless over here)

I played wow way back in the day vanilla through wrath and then a little bit of cata, and was just wondering how classic works.

I know they released "classic" then "classic tbc" etc., and just now realized they've gone through at least MoP I think. So do they always just progress the servers, or are you able to keep your character at max level/gear and just optionally port them to another expansion?

Because I was always kind of annoyed when an expansion would come out and I'd have to gear up all over again.

Even though that's part of the fun, I'd rather just make a new character and do everything again while leaving my various toons frozen in time as ready to play chads on whatever version of the game they're in.

So that's question #1.

And then also, second question kind of branches from that. What classic servers/expansions are available to play now?

Having more recently played a lot of TBC and Vanilla + by "other means" in the intervening years, I think I'm more interested in playing Wrath or Cata right now. Is this possible with Blizz or are they progressed past those?

And then, I've heard about Classic +? Which is kind of like what Turtle WoW was in that its an expansion of Vanilla, the original Azeroth, with new content like zones, quests, dungeons, talents, balance, etc., but all with a vision to be thematically similar to the vanilla world.

Is that accurate? And is it confirmed to be coming out?

Eustass Kid *spoilers* (if you're not fairly caught up in anime)

I'm at the point in the anime where Kid just got one shot by Shanks, and am not sure how to feel about it.

He's sort of a complicated character. From what I remember of his backstory, he grew up in a dangerous, morally corrupt environment, and kind of saved himself, and his friends by being someone they could rely on to protect them. Displays some kindness there.

But then he's referenced multiple times as just being a ruthless pirate later that has killed, and stolen from innocent folks on his journey to level up. Not so kind.

And then he ends up allying with good folks, but mostly because they have a common enemy and Kid sees he needs allies and his desire to get revenge outweighs his antisocial psychopathy. But I was naturally wondering if he might end up being influenced by Luffy. Like it felt like a plot device to potentially cement Kid as a better or worse person.

Flash forward to the next scene with Kid, and he basically offers and expects no quarter by opening fire on Shanks' fan club, and then gets stat-checked so hard he's knocked out and flung into the sea.

Seems fitting, since this is kind of the fate one can expect for someone that goes around picking unprovoked fights without much of a sense of self-preservation.

Guess it makes sense. I think I'm sort of writing it out to make sense of it, and give up on Kid being a decent human being. He fucked around and found out, as reddit is fond of saying.

I am left wondering if he's really dead though.

Hi,

I'm only allergic to red onions, and some random grasses, but I still figured this community might be the right ones to ask about mattress covers. I've never personally had one, but I remember sleeping on a mattress cover at one point in my life that was sort of like sleeping on a plastic sheet, and wasn't a great experience. That said, I'm honestly not sure if it was something that was meant to be water proof or dust-mite proof, and if it was the former, that could've been why it was weird af to sleep on.

However, I have an acne problem, and am trying to change my bedding set up to be as non-comedogenic (if that's the right word) as possible in terms of fabric choice, and dust-mite prevention. What I've learned so far is to wash bedding in hot water on at least a weekly basis, and use breathable, hypo-allergenic, high thread count materials.

But the last thing is to get a mattress cover, to reduce the living area for those little dead-skin eating dust mite bastards, so just wondering if they're all going to feel like sleeping on plastic or are some of them.. not really noticeable? Any recommendations?
