Tips for a particular match up
This is kind of a weird one, but I started duoing with this guy on our mains as Swain/Jhin (I was the Jhin), and after a while we got bored and swapped to other mains, Shen and Senna. But we were up against a Lux sup and Samira. Was this just a bad match up for us?
I feel like Samira is sort of countered by both Senna and Shen, as Senna is non-projectile mostly, and Shen can taunt her to mess her combo up and let you land a root.
But, my Shen was basically scared of Lux the entire laning phase, and I'm scared of both of them, but willing to put it on the lane to outplay and win.
And the Samira and Lux decided before the game started to sacrifice as much cs as possible to not let me have any souls (they just stayed a screen away all game long).
Is there anything I can do in this situation?
Like, how things would generally go is: Frozen wave mid lane, Senna last-hitting. Samira and Lux far away. Shen in a bush. One of them gets brave enough to be Q'd through the wave, or rooted along the side of it. It lands, they back off. I can't really walk up to even farm a soul because Lux is holding all abilities, with Samira next to her, and Shen isn't close enough to do anything, plus honestly they're fairly close to their turret.
Could my Shen have played differently to achieve a better outcome? Could I have done something differently?
Were we just screwed when we locked in Shen vs Lux or something?
