My first baby 😅 bought from Lowe’s today

I changed the soil out as the pole they had stuck in it was moldy/mildew (idk) but it didn’t feel right keeping it in that. Did a chunky mix as I tend to micro manage (aka idk what I’m doing and over water) She has browning already (I’m aware it’ll happen I’m okay with it I just want to make sure I’m not going to cause it to happen prematurely?) I don’t have any good window spots at the moment so I got a grow light how long should I be leaving it on??? I don’t want to burn or kill the poor thing 😭

I know I know but I just can’t sleep and Google is no help

Update: Not great news, she ditched the garage this morning I’ve been keeping an eye out for her and have a large gravity water bowl in a shady spot by my house. I live next to a field with an abandoned shed I’m sure she’s hanging out in there with the other strays in the neighborhood. If she comes back tonight I got a big enough crate I feel safe keeping her in till I can take her to the vet in the morning if she doesn’t show up before close today.

Sooo this random stray (female) showed up out of the blue tonight insisting on assistance. Like seriously, Non stop meowing at me but hissing if I moved too suddenly I got her some food and she drank like two sips of water. Now we are just hanging out she’s let me pet her she is literally skin and bones. But her belly is large and this side looks very strange to me? But I’m not a vet so 🤷‍♀️ I just need to know if it’s a take her to the vet first thing in the morning or if I can wait till pay day on Friday 😭😭

Giant melon in year one 🥹

Normally don’t get one till way later, and it’s my first time doing a beach farm! I’m so happy yet sad cause I needed the money but don’t want to kill the melon 🥲

Finally have free time to play again | 26f

Hi 👋 I’m a boring slightly awkward person looking to make more nerd friends 😅 None of my rl friends are super into gaming and I miss it a lot. I’m not very good unless it’s stardew or bg3. But I’m decently funny and love trying new games out!

I’ve played a lot of warhammer games, I play phasmaphoiba a decent amount, about every life sim possible, the basic mulitplayer ones fortnight, cod, minecraft, etc…

Totally accepting game recommendations I need more ways to waste my evenings ☺️

I have a PlayStation, Xbox and switch. Mostly playing on PlayStation tho. I’m a night owl as that’s when I can play uninterrupted normally.

Dm me if you think we could be friends!

I made a friend… and then said goodbye

I kept seeing this ragged black cat show up around my house… we named him lucky bastard as every time I thought he was gone for good we would see him again. After 6 months of randomly seeing him and trying to get him to trust me it happened. He ate the offering I placed before him! As he did I could see he was struggling with chewing and swallowing seemed to be an effort… I debated for a few weeks on if I should take him to the shelter to have a wellness check done. During this time he started to trust me more and let me pet him. I could finally see up close how bad it was. He was wheezing and had a runny nose that would ooze green. I called the shelter one day when he stayed in my garage for a few hours he was insisting I love on him and I took great joy in it thinking today would be the day to get him checked out. They spooked him under the car and we gave up as it was close to closing. After two days of him not showing up he finally did and had a limp now… I finally had enough and scooped him up put him in a crate (very shocked he let me). The following morning I took him in.. they were very sweet and let me know I would get an update after he was tested for fiv and feline leukemia which they would have to put him down for. Waited till the next afternoon at 3 ish to call and was told he’d been put down… I don’t know why it’s affected me so much he wasn’t really mine… so it’s not like I should’ve been in the room but I just hate feeling like he was alone.. I also still don’t even think I did the right thing.. I miss looking out for him and the trust we had built I feel like I betrayed it… I hate knowing he must’ve been loved at some point as his ear was tipped and he was so sweet once he realized I just wanted to feed and love on him.. idk what the point in this really was but I just needed to share lucky bastards story… he was a good cat and I will miss him..
