"Sweating vegetables" but the soup turned bland
Hello.
Yesterday i decided to learn to "sweat" vegetable.
I thoight i did well at first but today the vegwtables in the soup taste bland.
Basicallt i chopped two onions, two carrots and a red pepper. Put then in the pot on low heat with some salt.
Waited until they softened (onion turned tranalucent) and added two cups of water and two cups of milk.
Added some black pepper and bay leaves at the end.
What did i did wrong?
