I forced it using mustard. I applied a coat, let it sit on the blade for 20 minutes, then wiped it off with a dry paper towel, cleaned it, and repeated the process. I alternated between doing stripes and circles in random places.

To finish it off, I did the last 3 coats using a mix of mustard and a little bit of vinegar, following the exact same process.

I got it for 100 bucks plus a Cold Steel Mini Tac Bowie and a Victorinox. It’s a Benjamin Trail NP with the wood stock and a CenterPoint scope, and it runs great.

These are the Cold Steels in my collection. I’ve owned others in the past, like the Ti-Lite 6" and the Mayhem, and they’ve all been great pieces.
P.S. My favorite is the Recon 1 tanto in combo edge.
