Guys, those of you who wear sneakers with a formal suit; why?

PS: I am just being curious. Not trying to object on how people dress up.

PS2: nice responses. Make sense

Rant: vehicle registration renewal. Why the heck do we pay astronomical fee for tab renewal?

10% of the value of your car! This is my second year in Pierce County, previously lived in Yakima County. I have a 2022 highlander valued around $40,000. I got a shock last year when renewal was $400. I really feel bad for a family with couple of new trucks or SUVs.

What frustrates me that many of us might be not alive or living in the county by 2035. Why am I finding a light rail project that I may never use or need?

Rant over.

PS: brutally reminded that it’s 1%

What kind of sitcoms do you feel more gravitated towards, the one where the lead is a real life standup comedian, or the ones where the cast consists of general actors?

Main cast members from both the sitcoms will be there in the new show, playing the original characters. Characters chemistry , style of comedy, and story setting of the original shows could unite in a way that no awkward story turn would happen, like we don’t want Mindy Kaling to marry Rajesh Koothrapalli to merge Mindy’s project and TBBT. Merger should appear organic.

Condition 2. No spin-offs can merge together

PS: No spinoffs from the same show can merge back, like Joey and Friends can’t, but Joey and Fraiser can.

Mine was Stan from Will & Grace, mainly because I loved Karen’s character and everything around her was of interest to me

This goes to both sides. Screaming, belittling, calling names, and total disrespect for the others is turning into a norm. I feel, like many Americans, feel second hand embarrassment. I dont think that it was always like that. Can those who are following politics from last many decades care to chime in?
