SimJack Pro Pedals and iRacing?

I’ve been using these pedals with iRacing for 2 years, they are great especially with elastomers replaced with die springs.

My only complaint is that iRacing seems to take the “raw values” so all the calibration (setting 0% and 100% values) must be done very carefully with your feet in the iRacing pedal setup. Software like DIview has no effect on raw values.

my question: is there actually a way to calibrate/customise these pedals in software and sliders, which translates to iRacing? It would also be nice to see what force I’m using..

PBS Pro Race brake pads and Sebro slotted discs?

I've taken my Porsche Cayman 987.1 (non-S) on a few track days. After a few laps I get vibration in the brake pedal. The problem goes away by letting the brakes cool and then braking heavily a few times. So I think the problem is the OEM brake pads are overheating, creating high spots on the rear discs. I'm pretty sure the "active braking differential" feature is causing this, which can't be turned off. I've also experienced the steering wheel vibrating once or twice (in tandem with the brake pedal) so the front brakes are also overheating occasionally.

After getting advice from various people, I've bought PBS Pro Race brake pads and Sebro slotted discs. I'm also getting the brake lines checked, flexies replaced with braided, and high temp fluid next week. The goal is to be able to do 10-15 minute stints without the brakes doing anything weird. I expect my stints will become limited by something else (engine or tires) after this, but heyho.

I just stumbled on this subreddit, so dare I ask... does this all sound right? Any advice I can get from experienced track-goers on getting the best bang for my buck is appreciated <3

One last thing, I do not intend on using these discs and pads on the road, I will be installing them at the track. IDK if this is silly, but it seems reasonable to me.

iRacing should be more harsh against unsafe rejoins and rolling onto the track

I've reported people for unsafe rejoins and rolling back onto the track (not holding brakes when they've crashed) and it never results in a suspension because "its not intentional". But when its so easily avoided, these drivers clearly don't care whether they crash into other cars or not, even if its not intentional.

Edit: I got an email from iRacing which says the following:

“After reviewing the replay, we understand your frustration, but we do not feel that the accident was caused intentionally or with malice.

However, the driver who you protested will either be contacted directly and provided instruction or monitored. In addition, the incident will be permanently recorded on the driver’s record. This is important because even though we feel this incident was not intentional, if a pattern of driving continues, additional action will be taken.”

From the show “Adventure Time”.

Marlene (the singer) is a vampire, and she’s singing about her ex-friend Princess Bubblegum who rules the candy kingdom.

First time trying anything like this, I’m not an electrician or a carpenter. It wobbles a bit but seems strong enough.

I re-lacquered my old desk, so when it’s fully cured I’ll set up and post what it’s like to use.

Height goes from 30cm to 126cm.
