Curious to see if anyone else thought the same…
When I was first watching the show (mainly seasons 1 and 2 I believe), I kept thinking John Locke was some magical being on the island or knew things he wasn’t telling the others because a lot of episodes are set with him and one other person who is working through their own issues using him as a catalyst to do so. He was so involved in helping different characters have breakthroughs and teaching them lessons that I thought he must be more than just some passenger also on the plane.
I am curious if a) anyone thought the same while they watched or b) when the show was airing, was this a theory going around? Or am I totally coming out of left field?
Neighborhood/housing suggestions for incoming grad student
Hi, I'm an incoming grad student at UCR and will be moving this September from NC. Because of the distance, I'm not able to visit/tour any apartments and would really appreciate any suggestions of off-campus places to live near campus that are no more than 15 mins driving distance specifically in downtown, eastside, canyon crest or surrounding neighborhoods in Riverside.
I am looking for a 1br/b for no more than 2,000 per month within walking distance to campus (if at all possible) or walking distance to city life. Natural lighting, walkability, and general safety are most important to me.
I am looking for suggestions of complexes, streets, neighborhoods, areas, etc. especially little pockets in the city that only by living there you might know about-- thank you in advance!

Cute bathing suit stores?
I am desperate for new bikinis but I don’t know where in GSO to buy cute, cheaper ones. Online brands are SO expensive and I am avoiding target and larger corporations if possible — are there any one off stores in the mall for bathing suits or anywhere else? Please help!!!!
I wanted to go but couldn’t make it— super curious how it went!
