Still some gopd life left in the pollinator garden (oc)

As august sets in. The hollyhock, liatris, packs it in and the poker plant and small coreopsis starts to fade, but the delphinium and dianthus are starting second bloom and the monarda brings all the hummingbirds and the massive joe pye and violet hyssop/agastache brings all the bumblers!

I even saw hardy plumbago blooming and the fist Mum has flowered (which is sad, but thay means the island will be ablaze with pink, white and yellow in the fall)

Friends and flowers 8.5.26 (oc)

Makes me sad the big hollyhock is on the way down, amd the crocosmia is over, but there is always second life in the big pollinator garden.

Yellow poker, pink squirrel tail, joe pye, butterfly bush, crocosmia going strong and the purple big pink just opened its first flower

What's going on with my globe thistle (oc). 2nd year in the garden.

One stem already died and went brown and now this one is looking like its following suit. Everything else in the garden looks great - as of now and the flowers look good.
