Return label printing process

I run an independent pack-and-ship store, and I've been working on a small web app to make emailed return labels and packing slips a little less painful to deal with.

I'm curious how other stores feel about this workflow. When a customer emails you a label (and sometimes a packing slip), do you find printing it on the laser printer and taping it to the package or slipping it into a pouch time-consuming? And do you find yourself doing it over and over throughout the day? Or does UPS provide you a software solution to make this fast and easy for most labels?

I'm not trying to sell anything; what I've built is just getting ready to be tested beyond my store. I'm just trying to figure out whether I'm solving a real problem before I spend more time building it.

If you don't see this as a pain point, I'd love to hear that too. I know that the QR codes likely aren't going through this process, and that's a big difference between a store like mine and a UPS Store. Maybe that's most of your labels these days?

Seriously someone make a megathread, this has gotten dumb

Instead of commenting on existing posts already covering the outrage you’re all posting your own thread that should just be a comment on the first one. We get it, you’re pissed, but it feels like you’re taking it out on your fellow r/starlink subredditors
