Hey all!

My girlfriend is Turkish. Until she turned 25, she held a Turkish green passport (hususi pasaport), which let her travel to the Schengen area visa-free. She's aged out of that now and needs to apply for a regular Schengen visa to visit me in the Netherlands.

A few questions for anyone with relevant experience:

1. Does her (extensive) travel history in Europe (built up while she had the green passport) help her case, or make consulates less strict with her application?
2. When applying, can we request a longer-validity visa (eg, a multiple-entry visa valid for, for instance 3 months, letting her come and go as she pleases), or do we need to specify exact travel dates for a single trip on a first application?
3. Basically: is there any way to leverage her travel history to get a more flexible/longer visa, or do we have to stick to specifying exact dates for a first-time (as a "new" applicant) visa?

Any insight — especially from people who've dealt with Dutch/Netherlands consulates or similar cases would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

La prossima estate andrò finalmente in Sardegna, un viaggio che aspetto da anni. Arriverò in moto da Genova e avrò tre settimane intere sull'isola tutto per me:)

Ho però una domanda. A metà viaggio (dal 29 agosto al 5 settembre) farò una settimana di vela nella zona di Olbia / Golfo Aranci. In quel periodo avrei bisogno di lasciare la moto da qualche parte per una settimana, preferibilmente al coperto

Qualcuno conosce un posto adatto, o magari c'è qualche motociclista che — ovviamente dietro compenso(!) — potrebbe ospitarmi la moto per quella settimana?

Hi all!

This coming summer I'm finally heading to Sardinia, a trip I've been looking forward to for years. I'll be riding over from Genoa and have three full weeks on the island:)

I do have one question though. In the middle of the trip (August 29th to September 5th) I'll be spending a week sailing around the Olbia / Golfo Aranci area. That means I need somewhere to store my motorcycle for a week, preferably indoors and safe.

Does anyone know a good spot for this, or are there any fellow riders out there who — I can definitely pay and would be happy to(!) — might be able to offer a safe place for that week?

Vraag -- regelmatig loop ik door de Herenstraat. Naast een aantal klassiekers (Jaffa, King David en The Corner) zijn er ook een aantal ontzettend gure bars.

De 'Brazooka bar' bijvoorbeeld. Wtf is dat voor vage toestand joh? Altijd open, nooit iemand naar binnen zien gaan. Ben er op een beschonken avond wel eens naar binnen gelopen en dan word je gelijk door een eigenaar schichtig en redelijk dreigend gevraagd naar wat je er komt doen.

Zijn dit een soort criminele witwas tenten of zo? Ben er gewoon oprecht benieuwd naar, haha.
