This camera has brought me so much joy!

Purchased this camera right before leaving on our honeymoon and I’ve had so much fun shooting with it. I never hesitated to bring it out with me and I enjoyed the process of looking for things to capture so much more than trying to get a specific result.

Hoping to improve composition as I get more comfortable with the fixed lens, and to get better at shooting in different types of light.

strapless bra recommendations [on]

Does anyone have any recommendations for strapless bras you found comfortable during pregnancy? Everything I own feels incredibly itchy and uncomfortable. I wear bralettes under t-shirts, but ’d like a new strapless option to wear with tanks and dresses this summer. I’m only 34B/C so I could get away without an underwire, but some structure would be nice.

Got a little carried away in yoga [on]

Hi everyone,

I went to a yoga class tonight and by the end of class, I was so in the zone that I wasn’t really thinking about being pregnant and having to make some adjustments. I’m currently 14 weeks along and I have been practicing yoga 4-6 times per week for over a year.

Tonight, we ended class with compass pose. I totally didn’t even think about the compression to my tummy and the twisting until I laid down afterward. I felt a bit sore and I’m not sure if it was from the compression or from straining my abdomen muscles and round ligament.

Either way, now I’m spiralling worrying that I crushed the baby or hurt them by contorting like this. I’m seeking some words of wisdom before I panic and go to the ER just so I can see the baby on an ultrasound . This is my first baby and navigating what so can and shouldn’t do, and what sensations are normal, has been a bit of a whirlwind!

CNL recruitment process - Chalk River, ON

Hi everyone,

I’ve applied for a job at CNL in Chalk River and am curious about the recruitment process. I’ve noticed that postings stay live on the careers page for many months. Do they begin evaluating applications and conducting interviews while the position remains posted, or do they typically formally close it before proceeding to the next step? If the position is still listed, is this a sign that they are not yet satisfied with the applications received?

I’ve heard that the process from application, to interview, security clearance, and offer can take many months. I understand the sensitive nature of the work environment, but am wondering if the lengthy timelines are also due to a high volume of applications?

Thanks for your insight!

Debating between a 2022 T5 and 2025 B5 Plus

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to purchase a pre-owned XC40 and am debating between a 2022 T5 R-design with 32,000kms and a 2025 B5 Plus with 18,500kms. I wasn’t really in the market for a new car, but I had an unfortunate accident with an animal and have to replace my vehicle.

I much prefer the price of the 2022 (it’s a $8k difference after tax) and I also really like premium features like the nubuck seats and upgraded sound system. Despite this, I’m wondering if it’s worth going for the newer model to gain an additional 3 years in warranty coverage. Also, the infotainment system seems vastly improved on the 2025.

I’d love to hear any thoughts about potential maintenance considerations and the features of each vehicle from others who are familiar. Thank you!
