How to deal with the mental toll of starting MARPE?
Hello.
I have just gotten my MARPE pins in today. Not the expander, though, not yet. My ortho says that’s still being prepared.
I am exhausted and tired already. The pain is horrible. I can’t stop thinking about the road ahead and I already want to stop. It brings me so much dread to think about everything coming. I can’t even swallow correctly. Eating is a chore.
How do I cope?? 😭 Anything will help.

Rejected from a Summer Program. What do I do now?
Hello.
As the body text shows, I have just gotten rejected from one of my summer programs. It's way too late now to apply to any other ones, and I don't know what to do anymore. I'm a Junior. I really needed this.. anything else that I can do during the summer, even now?

Why are there two possible values for a ( the first term) ?
Did a test recently and for some reason my teacher got a = 12 and I got r = 1/3. I wrote out my first three terms as a/r, a, ar. He did a, ar, ar^2.
When I asked why we had different a but same r he said he didn’t know. Any help?

Microscopic video of the Lytic Cycle (an actual one)
Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone has a video (microscopic) of the Lytic Cycle? I don’t want a simulation or anything, I’d like actual footage. I’m sorry if that’s not possible or anything, it’s just that I took Viruses as part of my Biology class a while back and would love to see actual footage of a cell lysing.
