New ABS pump - now getting U2051

Gen1 Raptor that needed a new ABS pump, now that its fitted the codes i was getting before have gone but now i’m getting U2051 - One or more calibration files missing/corrupt leaving the warning lights still on. It is a brand new unit from Ford, not a used one.

I’m using the two month free licence of FORscan.

I saved the ‘AS Built’ data before i removed the old abs pump, downloaded the factory data - both the data before and factory data are the same and correct.

I’ve followed videos online of trying to set up their abs pumps and all they seem to do is upload the file onto the new module and it works but i am still getting the error code. My only option on FORscan is to play the ‘ABS module configuration (AS Built) whereas some people i have seen have the option of no AS Built which holds some further info where you can see the VIN on the module it is matched with.

Does anyone have any advice on my next steps please? Do i need to get the paid version of FORScan or is this something that Ford will have to do?

The only thing i can think of is that when i write all after loading the data file is that after cycling the ignition on and off it just says at 0%, then when i stop it, it says it was completed successfully but then it says its only read/writen block #1?

ABS - C1288-E0

I could do with some help please

I have a 2011 Raptor and i’m in the UK so the resources here are a bit limited.

I have three ABS codes, C1288-E0, C1963-20 and B1596-20. I believe the last two are there because the first one is present.

Ultimately, it suggests the ABS pump/module need to be replaced due to the pressure transducer inside it but due to the cost of it, i’m trying to work out and determine if something else is causing this code to come up.

To date, i have done the following;

Cleaned the wiring harness grounds

Replaced the third brake light

Replaced the brake pedal switch

Replaced the brake booster sensor

Tested voltage at the brake booster sensor

New battery

Unplugged the ABS module connector and inspected for water ingress/corrosion.

My last thing to do and probably the most obvious is to actually test to make sure power is getting to the module to verify if there is a broken wire somewhere or not.

Other than this, is there anything with this age F150’s i should consider that may be causing this code to come up?

Luckily Ford do have a new one available at a lovely cost of $2200 + $800 shipping, i can’t find a used one with similar part numbers and nobody in the UK can repair it so i want to be 1000% sure that it is infact this pump/module before ordering it

Recently bought a car, it was advertised on Autotrader through a business.

The ‘story’ is that the vehicle belonged to the owners brother who recently died and it was part of a collection so they’re going through them and selling them.

I went to view it, found a couple of issues (x, y and z) which i could sort myself that i accepted aslong as the price came down to reflect those issues which it did so i accepted i own those faults.

After driving 200 miles home and using it for a few days, i noticed a clunking noise coming from the steering rack which needs replacement.

The money was transferred to the owner to his personal account, not the business account. (Apparently doesn’t have one?)

And i signed a receipt saying there is no warranty implied on the vehicle.

Would the Consumer Rights apply for my situation given the above? Or would it be classed as a private sale therefore no rights?

I have a gen1 Raptor in the UK and need new tie rod ends.

RA show Suspensia and Delphi as being suitable for the Raptor but it doesn’t list seperate left or rights like some of the other ones. Does anyone know if the tie rods for the Raptor are side dependant?
